Little Wins Big In CD-6

Former Highlands Mayor Anna Little won the GOP nomination in the 6th congressional district and another chance to take on Congressman Frank Pallone in general election.

By a margin of 70%-30% percent Little defeated newcomer Ernesto Cullari.  Cullari had the Monmouth GOP endorsement yet 59% of Monmouth voters chose Little.   In Middlesex County, where Little had the organizational support, she earned 83% of the votes cast.

Cullari ran a sleazy campaign. He deserved to lose.

Absolutely. When you hire trash, you get a sleazy campaign.Im not saying I agree with all of Little’s ideas because I don’t but at least she didnt sink to that level. You must be a quality person to run and hire qualified people to guide you. Cullari obviously didnt do that.

A lot of Little supporters made it clear that if their candidate doesn’t win, they won’t support their primary opponent in the general election. So what are Cullari’s supporters expected to do now?

What they do is sit it out, just like many many Republicans will do as far as Little is concerned. Little has too much baggage and wronged too many people. You can leave a long trail of BS and not expect it to catch up with you.
Also it should be noted that Cullari got into the race under the impression that no one was going to step up to face Pallone. Then Little changed her mind from running for Senate to running for congress. So, that leaves one with a bad taste in your mouth as well.
One good thing about the pending Little run is that it will plow the road for the Republican candidate that comes after he to beat pallone! So I urge the Little supporters to work very hard to help that along!

Ernest called me and asked for my support,I said yes only because at the time Anna was going to run for the senate. I did not like the way he ran his campaign. Congratulations to Anna Little
