Little Backing Off Senate Bid

The Star Ledger’s Auditor reports that former Highlands Mayor and former Freeholder Anna Little is backing off her bid to challenge State Senator Joe Kyrillos for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate next year.  Her eyes may be back on Congress.

For now, a tea party favorite, Anna Little, appears to be leaning toward a run, but she also has her eyes on Congress. She has set up a “Little for Senate” website, although she hasn’t declared her candidacy. “We’re thinking about looking at the redistricting maps before we do it,” she said.

The congressional redistricting map, which will reduce the number of congressional districts in New Jersey from 13 to 12, is expected to be announced this week.

The Auditor also reported that former Roxbury councilman Tim Smith will not be a candidate and that State Senator Michael Doherty will probably not be a candidate.

Just as I posted at the site I first saw this at earlier this morning. I think Anna Little should run for the Senate. My reasoning is this. She ran the campaign of a life time during the last election, but couldn’t over come the Gerrymandering part of the equation. She won’t be faced with that same issue in running for Senate. It’s a wider scope covering the state as opposed to the worst gerrymandered district in the country. Everyone in the Tea Party knows who she is and I’m sure most would back her. Dougherty is going to decline because he will not have enough money to face off in the primary against Joey K. The governors darling. But Anna will have the Tea Party behind her.

Sorry pp, but I believe the Tea Party has had it with Anna Little. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when she threw the Highlands taxpayers under the bus and voted with the two Democrats to give the police union an outrageous giveaway – undoubtedly for revenge against the Highlands residents who did not vote for in the general election. She has proven herself to be unstable, vindictive and devoid of any true convictions. She should lay low for a few years, mend some fences and try to repair her seriously damaged reputation.

“Anna Little ran the campaign of a life time”?

“A guy name Joe Rullo is commanding the internet for Senate with lots of Republicans speaking about his candidacy. He is all over the place news wise”?

Has someone dumped Magic Mushrooms into the water supply?

The people around Little ran the campaign of a lifetime. They are all gone now.
Nobody outside of a few people in Ocean County has ever heard of Rullo.

An important factor in determining if the R candidate that runs against Menendez even has a prayer in the race will be who is on the top of the ticket. Unless the economy goes into a double dip, Obama likely wins the state by at least 10 points.

If Romney were the nominee, it stays at least competitive but if its Perry or Gingrich, I can see Obama winning the state by 15-20 points. Whomever the canidate for the Senate was would have zero shot of overcoming that.

TR you are either being funny about Rullo or have never been to Ocean County before. If you don’t know joe rullo you are not from Ocean County that is the bottom line no offense tr it is reality. It is interesting how the kyrillobots are trying to discount a guy who can defeat anyone easily in Ocean County by thousands of votes. Rullo can defeat kyrillos or any other candidate by taking Ocean County huge. Their is a route of wakening coming to many once rullo wins the primary, ha ha ha. He is not a gilmore boy but is a golden boy with elected officials due to his hard work ethics what a combination. There is not a state wide official including the governor who doesn’t owe part of their victory to his hard work. So tr stop with the slander of discounting it is not correct and misleading readers for sure. I am sure tr doesn’t stand for toms river based on your ill information to the page.

Sadly, the Tea Party in NJ is about as influential as the Catholic Church is in lran.

Alright TR!, enough of the bull crap.

If there are any BOTS here, they are most certainly RulloBots. They appear magically with almost zealot like chants and postings.

Larry T’s above is the most perfect example of “Bot Like Postings.”

This is why this place is going down the tubes. It’s becoming a battle of “he said, she said” by zealots who embarrass themselves so easily.

those solar panels are all synchronized with a satelite in geo synchronous orbit over Toms River NJ. At the flip of a switch they will power a huge outerspace death ray that will destroy us all if we do not make Rullo the world leader.

The only cult is the cronies who supress votes by dillusional post to slander a good republican. I agree with Bob English the top is where the decision will be made. I think Rullo is well educated staying neutral on primary. http://www.rullo4senate.com

I don’t know Rullo. I am sure he is a fine fellow. Let me be clear. I am not making fun of him. I am making fun of his followers and their posts on this blog. If they think what they are doing Rullo a service they are dopes.
Mr Harris if you think that the post above yours is slander you really need to ask Santa for a sense of humor this year.

[…] One day after The Star Ledger’s Auditor reported that Anna Little said she was going to look at the congressional redistricting map before deciding whether to run for U. S. Senate or take another run at Congress, she sent out fundraising email for her Senate campaign. Please join me, my family & “Anna’s Army” as we begin this amazing journey to help New Jersey, America and each of our own families futures. […]

ANYbody beating Menendez next year, period.. look, he’s gonna escape any possible criticism, (as our dear Pres. does), because they just cry racism, the media feeds it,and we back off..as left/wrong as Menendez is, he’ll have the money, and this still very blue state will re-elect him.. I fear their whole 2012 ticket in NJ : look, if we couldn’t gain even ONE new legislative seat this year, ( lost one),despite all the flap about how popular Chubby supposedly is, and all the media hype as he crossed the country on the Romney/ VP tour, we sure as hell don’t appear to have much prospect for success, given the current Dem majority of Congresspeople, a new, but likely D map, and the old Laut still breathing..thus, we’re likely doomed, so it’s all going to be a waste of time and not enough money, for whomever gets the unhappy task of taking it all on, next year.. until and unless I believe the national Republican party is planning NOW to fight off the certain onslaught of already- working voter fraud and intimidation, as they lie, cheat and steal it for Nobama at the top, AND actually unite, and work tirelessly for our nominee, I have little faith there are enough normal, hardworking, disgusted and over-taxed voters left to beat them..

Hey Tom P. , again not attacking rullo attacking his people like you who keep posting these ridiculous cult like responses with the vain expectation that they are helping their candidate when they are just making themselves and by extension their candidate look dopey.
