“The next senator from the state of New Jersey”

~ Lewis Eisenberg referring to State Senator Joe Kyrillos

While introducing keynote speaker Governor Chris Christie to the Republican Jewish Coalition Presidential Candidates Forum this morning, Lewis Eisenberg, the group’s chairman, gave a shout out to State Senator Joe Kyrillos as “the next senator from the state of New Jersey,” according to Herb Jackson at northjersey.com.

While in Washington with Christie, Kyrillos told The Hill,

“I am looking at it really closely,” Kyrillos said Wednesday in a brief interview with The Hill. “I feel a strong calling.”

Kyrillos does not have endorsements from Eisenberg or Christie, for past work, past runs for office, or for U.S. Senate, listed on his website.

The next senator I think of NJ without a doubt is the guy who worked with Joe Kyrillos as a counter part in Ocean Country bucking George Gilmore for Mitt Romney. He is now smart enough to be neutral in the king making process even though his weight could deliver a NJ primary landslide with his support. Rullo stood by congressman smith and Runyan when the heat was on last year, and delivers huge victories like he did with the Amato campaign unseating a three term democrat. The guy has re-elected winners year after year just ask Christie who won by 60,000 verses 12% of that with Kyrillos in monmouth. Rullo has credibility because every single issue on his site is the pulse of the voters with the guts to put it out there. He won’t kiss rings or anything else because he worked sweat & blood for most of the guys out there never making a dime. He has huge internet present like a fortune 1000 company if not better. He has media that works with him professionally because he has solutions and knows the issues he faces. An open primary Rullo wins Ocean County huge and the state follows. It is a myth like spending 100,000 on a wedding that you need to kiss rings for cash to finance political companies for millions when you have the respect he has. I read an article on one of the posts calling him a golden boy see for yourself with the numbers. He will prove if he decides to submit the signatures that money isn’t important because no one is going to outspend Menendez even close. Joseph has released more information about the connections Menendez has to bid rig & his weaknesses than any other campaign. He definately has a machine of posters, a following, huge internet presence, and millions of dollars worth of operative assistance volunteers to easily defeat anyone in a 3 or 4 person race. The guy never stops talking but has a great heart the people will see just like his elected friends. The only reason Runyan won was Rullo didn’t want to beat him with a three way race. Murphy hurt Runyan in burlington and that was his chance. Every office holder from the governor to congressman to local races owes their votes to his support. He knows how to bring an election together and communicates his ideas like wildfire. I heard he called gilmore just to make him aware of the run and is ignored of course because election time is not here. The man is not a gilmore cronie and exposed ritacco in toms river his law partners interest. I also heard gilmore has no one off the payroll who works half as hard as rullo. I just think it is easier to accept NJ will vote on primary day and if rullo is on the ballot he will win. His website is so honest, clear, and transparent. He doesn’t know how to lose I worked with him state wide on different races. Relentless & tireless he is.

When are you Rollo people going to stop?

Outside of Monmouth nobody has heard of Kyrillos. That’s a big problem. He can overcome it.

Outside his family, nobody has heard of Rollo. He doesn’t have nearly enough money to get beyond his neighborhood.

    Please stop.

  3. Timothy Ribinski said at 5:20 am on December 8th, 2011:

You have to be SERIOUS if you think you can dismiss Rullo who has recognition of 9 out of 10 Republicans who vote in a primary. Ocean County has the most registered republicans in NJ, and Rullo only needs to hold his own throughout the state after he sweeps Ocean County. The dog and pony show of Kyrillos support is amongst a few, but the reality is Rullo has the hearts and minds. He is uncorrupted from the process just ask Ritacco who had his sign taken down a few days after Rullo ran a press conference. To make matters even worse he was the only politician to call him out where was everyone else SERIOUSLY.

  4. Timothy Rubinski said at 5:43 am on December 8th, 2011:

You can’t be serious Kyrillos operative you know Ocean County is Rullo territory and will echo throughout the state. The guy has a family of friends he has built for decades electing officials who respect him as a friend. He is Gilmores boy no matter what they demonstrate with their dog and pony show with the county ring kissing sessions. Another thing you are forgetting is he participated just last year in a state wide effort as a congressional candidate. Ask Runyan, Christie, Joe Vicari, and George Gilmore where they would be without Rullo. He runs the show in the primaries just ask the Traditional Republicans of OC who are out of business after Rullo held the line. The game is over SERIOUSLY he is going to run its done. I just hope he runs open primary and ditches the dog and pony ring kissing sessions and goes to the voters.

  5. Brian Snyder said at 6:30 am on December 8th, 2011:

This guy Joe Rullo is the only politician who had the guts to stand up to Ritacco & held a press conference to put pressure to remove a sign with his name on it.

He got the board to force his resignation a couple of days later. Ritacco was arrested a week after he held the press conference.

Where was Christie and Kyrillos? Did you know Ritacco stole for over a decade and Joe filed an ethics complaint against the board ten years before that?

Another thing I like about him is he pushed for a new VA hospital that resulted in a state wide task force to make it a reality.

The guys works with veterans to get them hearings for disability.

I also heard he worked for dozens of municipalities, schools, fire departments, and governments officials for free doing initial solar studies.

Joseph didn’t get paid and the engineers got handed free work and billed for it 🙁

I wonder if Kyrillos would work for free?

  6. Freespeaker1976 said at 7:33 am on December 8th, 2011:

Man, the Rullobots are out in force already. I sum it up this way…

What seat has he ever won, as preparation for such a run for Senate? Oh, yeah; the almost ran Congressional campaign.

  7. Bob English said at 1:22 pm on December 8th, 2011:

Best bet is they both (along with any other candidates) run in the primary election and let the voters decide. That way nobody can say the candidate was chosen by the party bosses which is bound to leave supporters of the one(s) not chosen unhappy and possibly unsupportive.

  8. monmouth girl said at 1:40 pm on December 8th, 2011:

Hello everyone. I have know Joe K. for many years and he is an outstanding leader. I am not try to be a wise *ss but who is Mr. Rullo? I think I am pretty well informed but I have no idea who he is. Is he an elected official from Ocean?

  9. Becky Lee said at 2:23 pm on December 8th, 2011:

P.S. Monmouth Girl: Maybe the reason you don’t know Joe Rullo is because you are one of the lazy republicans who doesn’t volunteer and shows up to the victory parties Rullo is to modest to attend. If you don’t know who he is you are not well educated in NJ politics. Very sad or is it your operative job for Kyrillos to cast the early doubt. LoL.

  10. Freespeaker1976 said at 2:31 pm on December 8th, 2011:

    Becky Lee,

Now THAT was totally inappropriate with the lazy comment.

Monmouth Girl sounds like she is from ahhhh…Duh, Monmouth.

Joe Rullo is ahhhhh, from Ocean County and since he has not been elected to anything; it is doubtful Monmouth Girl would even know of Joe Rullo.

This is becoming my problem with the blog. It is becoming too vindictive and personal

There are ways to use humor to illustrate one’s feelings, but to call someone lazy?

Shame on you Becky Lee. Do you even know that Monmouth Girl has NOT done anything? As well, NOT everyone has time or the capacity to volunteer especially trying to pay bills today.

  11. monmouth girl said at 2:38 pm on December 8th, 2011:

    Becky Lee,

You have way too much hostility. I didnt start the name calling! Mr. Gallagher set up this site for an exchange of ideas and for information. I was simply looking for information. As my name implies, I am from Monmouth County and have lived here all my life. I attend many events here in Monmouth County. I am simply asking about Mr. Rullo, who he is and what is his background.

Obviously, he has very little experience or his operatives, like you, would not be lashing out at potential voters, you would be explaining his positions and telling us his background.

Also, I work, raise a family and do my best to stay informed and help the party. I am not a “lazy republican” you MORON!

  12. Freespeaker1976 said at 2:42 pm on December 8th, 2011:

You know, thinking more about this; what with all of the Rullobots fuminating like this, I am LESS appt to vote for him in a primary.

    It’s a “birds of a feather” thing.

  13. ArtGallagher said at 2:47 pm on December 8th, 2011:

OK folks, let’s tone it down and play nicer.

Monmouth Girl, you were doing great until the last word.

Becky Lee, the “lazy” comment was uncalled for, and as Monmouth Girl pointed out, stupid politics.

Freespeaker, you started it with the “Rollobots,” and then you complain about what this blog is becoming. You’ve done this before with others.

    Carry on. Play nicer.

  14. Rick Ambrosia said at 3:15 pm on December 8th, 2011:

This is too funny Art…its like you are the monitor of the 5th grade recess. LOL…

But really, they wouldn’t be republicans without the name calling and the politics of personal destruction. Just look to the leaders and to other posters here for that type of rhetoric. You allow someone to call the President a “Muslim organizer”, (another thread, not this one..), when the President is an avowed Christian, yet you scold someone for Moron? How does that work?

  15. Charles M said at 3:17 pm on December 8th, 2011:

I am very proud to have Joe as my State Sen. and would be even more proud to have him be the next Senator from New Jersey.

He has constantly been fighting for the taxpayers. And here is the most recent example.

    More about my comment above…

I don’t want this site to have to go the way of the app or redbankgreen and have sign in through facebook in order to comment here. Comments died off at rbg, for the most part, when they did that.

With the click of a button, I could require commenters to register here, as Tommy DeSeno has been after me to do for months.

I’d rather allow for free expression and creativity.

I blogged anonymously, with several identities…The Seward Authority…for a year and a half. I appreciate the value of such writing and the reasons some people need to do it.

Humor is fine. Sarcasm, within limits, works. Try the Golden Rule.

@Rick…the site is growing. Like I said above, I’m trying to avoid extreme measures. But just to be consistent, I wouldn’t scold anyone for calling Obama a moron. 😉

  17. Deb l said at 3:56 pm on December 8th, 2011:

Bob English is right it should be an open primary to the voters. Art offers an opportunity to get to know voters as he has done with Rullo. I know him because his name is often mentioned with various victories state wide including Christie’s 60,000 vote win in Ocean County. He has thousands of friends who want him to run because he has a good heart. He really understands the issues. Monmouth Girl I agree the frustration of the status quo game should not be taken out on you. I encourage you to take a look at Joseph. http://www.rullo4senate.com

  18. Charles M said at 4:16 pm on December 8th, 2011:

If Rullo wants to be taken seriously he should remove the advertisements for his solar business off of his campaign site

  19. Freespeaker1976 said at 12:33 am on December 9th, 2011:

    Ah, Poor Ricky.

He seems to forget that it was the Clinton administration that perfected “Politics of Personal Destruction.

    http://corneliusvansant.newsvine.com/_news/2011/11/10/8736182-politics-of-personal-destruction

And, what of the attacks on Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas?

This “politics of personal destruction” charge against Republicans is so similar to the charges of racism that the Democrats lay at the Republican’s doorsteps.

Remember who started the KKK, and that Robert Byrd was a Klansman.

You see, this is where liberals get in trouble. They accuse those on the right of what they themselves do. Don’t ever think Rick that you can get away from side steps like you played in your comment above; accusing us Republicans of things those on the left specialize in.

Now, I’ve thought long and hard about the next words, but I want to wrap up my feelings about the lecture that Art gave us; so I’ll leave the following thoughts…

As my moniker indicates, I speak FREELY. I don’t mince words. I simply don’t accept liberal arguments and positions. They are irrational and they have failed this country.

But, I try to use a little humor to break the ice. Rush Limbaugh is known for this and it infuriates the left mostly because he is “99.6%” accurate.

Some people seem to take these things as personal attacks. “Oh well.”

But then, they get totally bent out of shape to the point that that they go off on a tangent and go overboard.

Such humor does not entitle people to call someone lazy as above or make personal attacks on one’s disability status without even knowing that person.

THOSE are the things that are the “politics of personal destruction,” not a little bit of silly humor.

This may end up as being my last post here because Art may ban me.

    As I said, “oh well.”

It’s his blog and his right to operate it as he sees fit. He doesn’t need me and I don’t need the blog to live on. But, I’ll be damned if I’ll hang around to watch people called lazy and my disability status made fun of.

    It just ain’t right…

Monmouth Girl makes a testimonial post for Kyrillos then questions a US Senate hopeful who has more internet presence than any other person I have ever seen. She can look up the official FEC listing showing Rullo as officially filed unlike Kyrillos. Freespeaker really lost his focus in the last post and has dedication to his friend monmouth girl that obvious. The point Free Speaker is maybe if monmouth girl googled or yahoo Josephs name she would have answered her questions. I agree with one of the posters that an open primary is needed to enable the voters to choose not the cronies n their their testimonial bots. I think the owner of this site follows the constitution called freedom of speech. I can see why any of the business people rullo supports, veterans, elected officials, n friends would say monmouth girl has her man picked out already. She may not have heard of him but that in itself showed a lack of interest to research prior to her statement. The last several posts have been clear to create doubt of who is Joseph Rullo and that question has been answered over and over. One has to do click a button and the guy has his platform and solutions all for you to see. http://www.rullo4senate.com I personally would like to see Steve Lonegan run or Chris Christie.

  21. Rick Ambrosia said at 7:39 am on December 9th, 2011:

Uh oh…there goes Freeloader1976 again…playing that disability card. With your mouth Freeloader1976, I doubt you will get anyone to feel sorry for you. And as to the politics of personal destruction, just take a gander at some of the comments of the republican leaders towards not only the President (republican flyers depicting the President as monkey, socialist, communist, Muslim, Hitler, etc.) but what they’re doing to each other during this primary season. I guess its all in fun, isn’t it.

Also, if you think what you’re doing is humor, you are sadly and grossly mistaken. You are cutting and nasty with your comments, not humorous at all. And if you think you are anything at all like Rush, then maybe you should talk to a professional about your delusions of grandeur. Its amazing that you would even compare your sorry self to Limbaugh.

Maybe its time for another one your famous naps and call it day…or night…or whatever someone that doesn’t need to know what time it is calls it.

OK, I clicked on the Rudy Rullo website.

Amateurish. Third Grade level grammar and diction. Advertisements for his company.

Giving this guy credit for winning GOP campaigns in Ocean County is like giving Pallone Credit for winning his district. It’s Ocean County, folks. The GOP is supposed to win.

  23. Freespeaker1976 said at 9:24 am on December 9th, 2011:

What a hateful little a r s e you are Ricky. You just can’t stay away from the attacks on someone’s disability, could you. How about you go thru 18 orthopedic operations, one to wire your jaw shut.

Now, I have intentionally burned my bridges. I want nothing to do with you or your kind of hate and childishness. This blog took a turn for the worse during last year’s election cycle.

I’ve chosen to withdraw, sooner or later you will be banned.

Ok I bit. Rullo owns a solar company you expect him not to mention it, lol. It is called accomplishments & experience. Also, the guy is part of a relentless republican team made of elected officials, volunteers, and leaders who believe in quality of life something rullo can deliver to NJ. I thought the website was different for only reason he listed where he stood and what he wanted to do. Unlike most bought and paid for politicians who have to be careful waiting to see where their conflicts are rullo doesn’t care. He cares about people and the site is awesome not paid for by future sell outs to NJ.

Well TR…was that the politics of personal destruction? Or was that humor. I don’t recall Bush being depicted as Hitler, Stalin or a slew of other notable murderous dictators…can you? Actually Rick he was compared to Hitler by the left on many an occasion. No I don’t recall a birther movement with Bush just all kinds of other deplorable conspiracy fantasys. I condemed the idiot birthers btw and I don’t condone him being compared to Hitler or a Monkey and never thought he was a muslim. He is a socialist though but that is not derogatory. Most of Europe is socialist as are most Democrats today, you included. While I think it is a failed political movement I don’t view it as derogatory just factual. Antway

Come-on admit it your a hypocrite. Its ok to make fun of Republican presidents but not Democrats. You know thats what you believe.
