Murray Sabrin The Comedian
My friend Murray Sabrin is trying to give Joey Novick some competition in his role as comedian/blogger.
If you’re not familiar with Novick, he’s a liberal Democratic lawyer and stand up comedian that makes up stuff about Republicans in his column at Politickernj. Sometimes Joey makes up stuff about Democrats too. He wrote that Carl Lewis was going to appeal to Judge Judy to get back on the LD 8 ballot as a Senate candidate. Joey thinks he’s funny.
Sabrin writes funny stuff too. Only Murray doesn’t think he’s being funny. Murray wrote that The Fix Is In. The Koch brothers have arranged for Chris Christie to be elected president in 2012 and that Steve Lonegan will be elected governor of New Jersey in 2013.
That is funnier than anything that Novick has ever written.
Joey and Murray should create a joint act, The Liberal and the Libertarian.
I cede to Mr. Sabrin the title. He has made me laugh much over the years. Especially when he ran for governor as a libertarian, but took government candidate funds. Very funny.
In the Soprano state anything is possible.
In the event of this nightmare, I hope Lonegan’s 2013 primary opponents will focus on three things:
Firstly, the fall of 2007 newspaper stories regarding Mr. Lonegan’s hilarious statements about hiring of illegal alien(s) at the Palisades Park Route 46 Overpass to put together AFP campaign signs in his garage.
Secondly, the 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) controversy in connection with Lonegan’s collection of matching campaign funds for his 2009 campaign. Jane Roh’s March 31 post said it best: “Did anti-tax GOPer Steve Lonegan cheat New Jersey taxpayers?”.
Thirdly, the July 2009 Bergen County Civil Jury verdict regarding Lonegan and other Bogota governing body former members concerning violation of a police officer’s free association and free speech rights.
[…] I think, for the post on your website about my new skill, pundit/comedian. We need some levity around here. However, if you read my post, I said it appears the Kochs […]
http://www.whatexitnj.com is my new satirical website.
Joey,
Normally such comments would be flagged as spam unless the spammer agreed to buy an ad.
I checked your site and saw no ads, so I figure you’re not making money and advertising wouldn’t work.
The other thing I trade with site owners trying to glom traffic from me is traffic back. I checked alexa.com and you don’t have any traffic to send back.
So even though there is apparently nothing in it for me, I’m going to leave your link here because this story made me laugh: http://whatexitnj.com/?p=280. Honestly, the headline made me laugh, the story, not so much.
