Bayshore Tea Party Group To Back Rich For Freeholder, Robinson For Assembly

(RED BANK, July 1) –  With statewide elections in six months, the Bayshore Tea Party Group (BTPG) is actively evaluating candidates for county and state level office. BTPG will continue to evaluate candidates, and at this time announces its support for the following candidates:

  • Gary Rich, Republican, for Freeholder in Monmouth County
  • Shane Robinson, Republican, for Assembly in District 19

“The people spoke loud and clear last November,” said Barbara Gonzalez, founder of BTPG. “And we continue the effort in New Jersey to elect representatives who share with us the values that made this nation the greatest in the world.”

“There is no question that New Jersey’s tax structure is broken, our unemployment rate-now 9.4%–is absurdly high, our state economy is hurting, and New Jersey government at all levels is too big and too intrusive,” added Robert Gordon, BTPG President. “New Jersey people are suffering. We are dedicated to electing people who will stop the down-spiral, and put New Jersey back to work and back to prosperity.”

Gonzalez added, “Gary Rich and Shane Robinson share our constitutional, limited-government values. They clearly can help fix the problems we are facing. BTPG is happy to help them get to Freehold and Trenton, to help bring back the liberty and prosperity our residents deserve.”

The Bayshore Tea Party Group is part of the nationwide, grassroots Tea Party movement. Our mission is simple: (1) Limited Government; (2) Fiscal Responsibility, and (3) Free Markets. Find out more at our web site: www.bayshoreteaparty.org . Follow us on Twitter: @Bayshore_TParty.

Once again Art provides quality coverage of the Tea Party movement here in NJ. We are looking forward to supporting both Mr. Rich and Mr. Robinson as well as continually supporting fine news and opinion outlets such as MMM.

Thank you Art for reporting this to the public. It’s important for everyone to know who will be campaigning to represent them. Hopefully, they can trust in the Bayshore Tea Party Group to know that they have vetted Shane and Gary and have agreed that they would be great representatives for the people.

Ive met Gary Rich 4 or 5 times and like him more every time I speak to him.

I met Shane Robinson once and had time to talk with him one on one after listening to him discribe his platform and take questions from the crowed. I think he can be an ace in the hole. Good young blood candidate. If he legislates like he talks he’ll be a very good leader on the course to a smaller more fiscally responcible government and with family values to match.

At a public gathering this weekend I heard people not in tea party organizations and even a couple of former Obama voters say out loud to anyone listening that the Tea Party must be the saving force for our nation. The values that the Tea Party Patriots and its sister organizations such as the 9/12 groups advocate — limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets — will be the vehicles to restore our constitutional republic and set our great nation back onto the paths of liberty and prosperity.

Best wishes to all for a happy and blessed Independence Day.

So does this mean the Bayshore Tea Party will not be supporting Burry?

be reminded of Reagan’s 11th commandment, we don’t need “R’s” criticizing fellow R’s, we have the APP “Rag,”and the D’s for that.. last we heard, Lillian was well-received at her last Tea appearance, have not heard that has changed..as for Mr. C., he was the recipient of much enthusiastic support from Mrs. B.,especially in his second freeholder run, so will assume he will be a good R soldier, and return the favor, this year..also, do we really need Mrs. Amy “AlGore-greenie” Mallet, and/ or a 32-year-old unknown “retired” trooper, on that board?.. I think not- focus, people……

I for one am not supporting Lillian and will bullet vote for Rich. I would rather have one dem on the board ( who is pretty powerless) then another year of someone who is more interested in protecting her friends and being the Queen Bee on the board then what is best for the taxpayers.
I urge everyone who wants to send our party a message to do the same.
