It is improper for the Governor to take a State Police helicopter to see his son play baseball. Even if the pilot was “training,” that pilot should have been “training” while he was also doing other legitimate law enforcement work. (e.g., searching for missing persons, observing criminal activity, observing traffic, responding to accidents, deterring crime, etc.) That State Police pilot wasn’t accomplishing much while waiting for the Governor to finish watching a ball game.
If Colonel Fuentes thinks that using a pilot and a helicopter to take Chris Christie to high school baseball games is an appropriate use of State Police resources, then we need a new person to head the NJ State Police.
make so many mistakes, when running a government, before the numbers fall, and the credibility/electability drops: this had better be the last goof-up and show of arrogance of “Team Chrisite,” or the new legislative district candidiates, who are trying to GAIN seats against the Dem majority, will be hard-pressed to run their smiling photos of themselves with the great- “fixer,” on their fliers, and in their commercials!.. it’s time he, and his handlers, finally “get” that it ain’t just all-about them, any more , it’s about the entire team running hard,at all levels, who are trying to shrink the size and scope of gov’t., cut the waste, give taxpayers a break, and run things better!!..so, enough, please, wise up, and get busy doing the right things for we who helped you get there!
