  2. Don't really care said at 9:33 am on November 10th, 2010:

where the heck he was born, only know it was a really bad idea for the country to buy all the lines, and give him the best/toughest job in the world, which he obviously is very ill-prepared to handle..he looked so happy amongst the folks there, (really, whenever he’s out of the USA),he needs to get out of DC, and go live in/rule, whatever authoritarian/socialist nation that loves him and makes him the happiest!.. we’ll help him and her pack, they can even take the drapes like Hillary did, if they like, we’ll all still be much better off!!..

I like this quote better…concerning the $95K patronage job that our illustrious Governor gave to an enormously unqualified Scharfy….

“Digging up rocks doesn’t make you a planner,” remarked Jeff Tittel, director of the New Jersey Sierra Club. “The only science being conducted in this office is political science, not real science.”

    Or this one…

“Gov. Chris Christie hired a politician who lacks state accreditation as a licensed planner to direct what is now the Office of Planning Advocacy”, said Charles Latini, president of the New Jersey chapter of the American Planners Association.

  4. Chris said at 10:53 am on November 10th, 2010:

Rick, do you want to go over EVERY position in the former Corzine administration?

  5. Rick Ambrosia said at 12:05 pm on November 10th, 2010:

    Chris,
Would that still make this one right?

  6. Tittel's an ass said at 12:31 pm on November 10th, 2010:

“Digging up rocks doesn’t make you a planner,” remarked Jeff Tittel, director of the New Jersey Sierra Club. “The only science being conducted in this office is political science, not real science.”

The only environment Tittel is concerned with is the political environment

I just hope that come next election, we can come up with something better to go after Obama for other than “he was born in insert scary foreign nation here. ” — the voters didn’t seem to care so much 2 years ago and I doubt that they’d care in the future either; and I get it – “the Constitution says…”, sure – the Constitution says a lot of things, the voters and politicians don’t follow the words, meaning and intent at all times, and “you” (the at large you, not any specific one of you) expect that one little section to be the one thing EVERYONE can magically agree on and not elect Obama over, if it’s even true – which it appears is not the case anyhow?

  8. Chris said at 2:11 pm on November 10th, 2010:

Jim, that quote I put up on FB was meant as a joke.

Of course, the 2012 election is about trying to disrupt and change America, about debt, spending, taxes, economic growth, national security.

The 2012 election won’t be about abortions, God, gays or birth place.

(for the record, John McCain wasn’t born in the US either)

  9. "To the victors belong the spoils".. said at 6:15 pm on November 10th, 2010:

whether one likes it or not, all governmental divisions are each considered a “body politic,” by law, and, as such, exist by and through a political system.. flawed it may be, but it’s still the best system in the world, allowing for changes and cyclical periods of dominance, through the electoral process.. this means, usually two sides, going at it, to WIN, and be in- charge, just as in any contest/competition!..and so, with winning, comes the right to bring in qualified people on your side, whom you feel will do a decent job.. do not see this ever changing, unless and until Nobama and his ilk succeed , and set it up to be a forever Dem/one-party autocracy, or worse..many feel we “get the government we deserve”, since we still get to choose leaders, which means the “right” to vote also includes the responsibility to continually inform oneself about issues, and those who seek and win office, to control our money and lives.. so, it isn’t birthplace, it’s who one is and what one believes, and what theyndo after the win..and, get over that leaders will always reward and surround themselves with more “friends,” rather than enemies, it’s just good business: even small businesspeople and large corporations have their “politics”, with those in charge hiring/promoting those they are most comforable with…. I believe in our partisan, political world, the Dems actually stick to that principle much more forcefully and consistently than Rep’s., and, due to media bias, a separate set of rules, and more scrutiny, Dems can and do get away with far more “patronage,” than the R’s, anyway!….
