LITTLE: SENIORS WILL HAVE NO BETTER FRIEND THAN I
HIGHLANDS, October 29) – Republican Congressional challenger Anna Little focused her campaign’s message on the large population of seniors residing in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District – seniors who have been disproportionately hurt by the votes cast by Frank Pallone during his 22 years in the Congress.
“All over our district, I meet seniors who are worried for the future – theirs, and their children’s and grandchildren’s,” said Little. “They see a government taking over more and more of their decisions. They see a political class that seems no longer to care about them, despite the sacrifices they’ve made to allow younger generations to enjoy a lifestyle they couldn’t. And they fear a government that doesn’t seem to know how best to get our economy back on track.
“New Jersey seniors should know this – they’ll have no better friend than I, when I go to Congress in January,” continued Little.
“It was Frank Pallone, not I, who cast a vote to cut $500 billion from Medicare.
“It was Frank Pallone, not I, who cast a series of votes over the last 22 years to raise the national debt from $2.6 trillion to $13.6 trillion, and pass on a debt of more than $30,000 to every man, woman and child in this country – including our grandchildren.
“It was Frank Pallone, not I, who cast votes to put government bureaucrats between doctors and their patients – including their senior patients, who may now find themselves forced off their current health care coverage and into some new plan that doesn’t provide the benefits to which they’ve grown accustomed.
“And it was Frank Pallone, not I, who cast vote after vote for higher taxes and more government spending – higher taxes and more spending that saps our economy, drives up the cost of living, makes New Jersey one of the least affordable states in the country, and forces many of them to become ‘plane ticket grandparents’ – the kind of grandparents who need to use a plane ticket to see their grandchildren, because they’ve been forced to move out of state for their retirements, and only see their grandchildren at the holidays, when they get on a plane to come back to New Jersey.
“On all these fronts and more, our current Congressman has failed to lead for seniors,” said Little. “He has raised their taxes, borrowed their money, and put their children and grandchildren in debt. It’s time we stopped that, and moved in a new direction – a direction that gives New Jersey’s seniors more freedom of action, leaves more money in their pockets, and secures their ability to see the doctor of their choice.
“In four days, New Jersey will vote, and we’ll have a chance to send a fresh face to Washington,” said Little.
“If you think we’re headed in the right direction, then Frank Pallone is your man,” said Little. “But if you think we’re moving in the wrong direction, if you think you’re ready for a change, then I need your vote – because you cannot change Washington without changing the people we send to Washington!”
A leader is persuasive, courageous, honest, and loyal. Frank Pallone is all of those. First of all, he is persuasive by getting people to vote for him. He is also courageous by having the guts to run for congress, honest so people would trust and vote for him, and loyal to the country and his state. Anna little may be persuasive, courageous, and loyal, but she is not honest. She will not do what she says she will. Since frank Pallone is running for the House of Representatives, he has to meet the requirements for it. He has to be 25 yrs or older, a citizen of the U.S. for 7 yrs, and a resident of the state he represents. Pallone is 59 yrs old, has lives in the U.S. for his whole life, and lives in NJ.
Frank Pallone wants to increase education for kids in NJ. First of all, he wants to raise the school budget and also wants to make teaching jobs so that there are more teachers to teach the students. That would mean kids would go to better colleges and get better jobs. Then Frank Pallone would get more popularity and that would help him. Little wants anyone to be able to go to school but doesn’t want to help education, Pallone does. Democrats usually want more federal governmental control over businesses and our school systems. Pallone wants to improve education so if he gets elected, the government will do that. On the other hand, the Republicans, Anna Little’s party, want less control over business and school systems. If she wins the election, she will want to decrease governmental control over school and business. All candidates have a slogan. Frank Pallone’s slogan is “Anna Little is too extreme for us,” and when he says that he means that Little will “Kill the DOE, let insurance companies drop coverage if you get sick, thinks change is a ‘hoax’, and impose a 23% national sales tax for middle class families on everything you buy while eliminating all corporate taxes. Vote for Frank Pallone, not Anna Little.
Sparky:
I guess you are franks political advisor. Welcome to MMM. You could not be more wrong about Mrs. Little.
Frank had his chance to make change. Problem is he has drifted way to the left and this district is mostly center/right.
As for the 23% sales tax…. you don’t get it. First she is Tea Party (Taxed Enough Already) The fair tax will reduce the taxes the consumer pays out.
Have a wonderful day.
The “Fair Tax” is such a misnomer. Smoke and mirrors from the Tea Partiers. It will RAISE taxes on the middle class and lower income brackets. Stop the lying and tell it straight. It will REDUCE taxes on the wealthiest of Americans.
And, what will the seniors do when Little votes for a privatization of Social Security? What kind of lifeline will they have then? Nothing. Nada.
And when Little votes with her party to repeal the Health Care Reform Bill, those with pre-existing conditions will be left to fend for themselves since they will not be able to get coverage if they lose their jobs.
She is scamming the voters into thinking that she’s on the up and up, when in reality, she will doom a whole slew of people.
She IS too extreme.
