Over the last two years, we’ve begun the process of repairing the damage and rebuilding a foundation to restore economic opportunity and fairness for all Americans. Tea Partiers, right-wingers, and an extreme Republican Party want to return us to the old status quo rather than continuing to build on the foundation of change we brought to Washington.

We need to continue to support small businesses with the incentives that allow them to grow and to add new workers to their payrolls. We need a comprehensive energy package to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and incentivize domestic renewable energy sources.

Each and every day, we are working every day to fix broken regulatory systems, jump-start our economy and give small businesses the tools they need to create jobs. We are putting working families first and ensuring that never again will corporate profits and the whims of the well-connected be put at the top of the agenda.
