Freeholder John P. Curley was easily elected to a third term on the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders.

With 57% of the vote (44,713-34,227), Curley defeated Carol Rizzo of Neptune Township, keeping control of the Board in 5-0 control of the GOP.

    John is a good man who thinks about the people not the party. I have always been a supporter and will continue. Now if only the Grande Dame could be shown the door.

    go back into recent history: believe Freeholder Emeritus Ted Narozanick,in his last (5th) race, won all our towns but Asbury and Roosevelt, and won at one point by some 40,000 votes: now, that’s a beloved freeholder/ politician..
