Howell man indicted for kiddie porn, sexual assault on a child
Kevin Motyka, 23, of Howell Township, was indicted on Friday by a Monmouth County grand jury, according to Acting Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
The 17 count indictment charges Motyka with 2 counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, 7 counts of second degree Sexual Assault, 5 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving the manufacture and distribution of child pornography; as well as permitting a child to engage in child pornography. Motyka is also charged with 2 counts of third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving sexual conduct and the possession of more than 100 items of child pornography, as well as a lone count of fourth degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child related to possession of child pornography.
Motyka was arrested last February 24 and has been in the custody of the Monmouth County Correctional Institution since. His bail is $700,000 with no option to post 10 percent, and the added condition he not return to his home if he is released on bail, as set by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Honora O’Brien Kilgallen.
A tip made to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children lead to the arrest last year.
If convicted of all charges, Motyka could spend the rest of his life in New Jersey State prison. The cumulative maximum sentences are 171 years and six months.
I volunteer to flip the switch on this piece of human debris.
