The Dirty Trick Call
MMM has obtained a copy the 4am robo call that fraudulently announced it was made on behalf on Joe Kyrillos, Amy Handlin and Declan O’Scanlon and reminding the listener that they had “another four hours to vote.
The call had no paid for disclosure, as calls from the Monmouth GOP, whose number was used on the caller ID, would have.
Listen to the call yourself by clicking here.
We called the Bellew for Senate campaign for comment. No one answered. This is a copy of the recorded message that answers the Bellew for State Senate phone. Click here to listen to the Bellew for Senate recorded phone greeting.
Believe the BSTPG or Belle anyway especially after that bogus poll
As to our Chairman wanting to make with them, I ponder if they want to make up with us especially after their rhetoric
Jim Granelli
If that’s not a smoking gun I don’t know what is.
How stupid, first just to try the dirty trick, but then to use the same southern (Texas?) drawl on the dirty trick as on the office answering machine?
As they say in Texas, you can’t fix stupid.
Who is going to jail?
Why is it always the holier-than-thou who end up being the biggest scumbags?
I hope Kyrillos, O’Scanlon and Handlin press charges. If they don’t any voter who got the call can and should.
Brooklyn Man Guilty in Political Robocall Ruse
PATERSON, N.J. (AP) — A political consultant from Brooklyn has admitted responsibility for a robocall campaign that made it seem like it was coming from the rival camp during a 2009 legislative election.
Kevin Collins, a former Wood-Ridge resident who now lives in Brooklyn, pleaded guilty Tuesday to violating the Fair Campaign Practices Act. He was then sentenced to a year of probation and fined $1,000.
Collins targeted more than 12,000 voters with automated calls attacking Republican incumbent Assemblymen Scott Rumana and David Russo. The calls were made to appear as if they originated from Rumana’s own chief of staff, and Collins admitted Tuesday that he had obtained that person’s cell phone number and used it to arrange the calls.
Collins was a paid consultant for two Republican challengers who were defeated by the incumbents.

I do not believe this occurred. Knowing the swarmy GOP mercenary henchmen, I would venture it was a political dirty trick on their part.
Tea Party folks don’t hit below the belt like this unless GOP insiders are on the payroll. Don’t believe it folks, it’s last second political dis-information. The insiders always have a dirty trick up their sleeve at the last possible minute so it cannot be repudiated.
…who it was that asked Democrat Chair Vin Gopal for financial support in the Republican Primary … …. ……
the FBI will get to the bottom of it.
And if you lie to them. . . it’s a felony.
Writing about the culture wars in 1987, Professor Allan Bloom discussed the pervasiveness of moral relativism among students of all ideological stripes and persuasions. Today, some of those students are running the Tea Party movement in New Jersey. This is undoubtedly true beyond the borders of this one metropolitan state but for our purposes let’s examine what’s nearest us today.
In New Jersey, the Tea Party was born from those elements that had come together to support Steve Lonegan over Chris Christie in 2009. The movement was nurtured from funds provided by Americans for Prosperity (AFP), a group controlled by Lonegan in New Jersey. After failing to make inroads in 2010, Lonegan cut back in 2011, with the result that “new” leaders began to emerge from within the movement. So instead of a single AFP/Lonegan dominated idea of what “conservatism” is, each new leader brought with him or her, a personal idea about what or who is or is not “conservative”.
Steve Lonegan is himself a moral relativist when it came to the definition of what is “conservative”. We all remember his about-face on illegal immigration when it emerged that he had hired illegal immigrants. Instead of acknowledging what he had done and moving on, he filed a suit against local police for “profiling” his employees. This from a man who had once made a huge political play over a Spanish-language billboard in his community.
Suddenly you had new leaders with “Pro-Choice” and “Pro-Marriage Equality” views bumping into “Theocracy-centric” activists who were anti-Darwin and anti-Catholic in equal measures. Each had their own, very personal views, about what the word “conservative” meant – and in the end, they applied it to whoever they liked and denied it to whoever they disliked.
There were those who supported former State Senator Dick LaRossa, an aging lothario who had the most liberal voting record of any Republican legislator when he was in Trenton. Now that’s not an opinion, it is something that can be measured by the number of times he voted with public employee unions and with the Democrat Party. But measured, objective truth just isn’t something these people are about.
Conservative Senator Mike Doherty was attacked relentlessly and mocked for his military service. Doherty – whose three sons also serve in the military – was called “the West Point Weasel” by the Bayshore Tea Party Group, simply because they thought he might run for the U.S. Senate and they liked someone better. Doherty was a “pseudo-conservative” because they said so. And then they decided that they didn’t like the other guy either – so they began to call him a RINO.
In selecting candidates moral relativism has blinded the Tea Party to bankruptcies, criminal convictions, and violent racist statements. Anyone who objects is labeled some sort of “non-conservative” – the National Rifle Association (NRA) and New Jersey Right to Life included.
When a group aligned with the Bayshore Tea Party wanted to hold a rally and promote a speaker who had a criminal conviction for sexually molesting children, those who warned the group not to feature this speaker were informed that, in the opinion of the group’s leader, this registered sex offender had done nothing wrong. There is no objective truth.
And that brings us to today: The day before Election Day.
It is an election day that features a number of contests between “conservatives” and… “conservatives” – depending on whether you personally like them or not. It is an election in which the Bayshore Tea Party wants you to believe that NRA “A” Rated, Pro-Life conservative Republican Assemblyman Declan O’Scanlon is a “liberal”. One in which Steve Lonegan wants you to believe that NRA “F” Rated, Pro-Gay Marriage liberal Democrat State Senator Nick Sacco is a “conservative”. What is up is down, what is down is up.
In fairness, Lonegan’s love for Sacco has to do with more than just personal likes or dislikes. It has to do with money, and money trumps objective truth too.
Lonegan’s closest confidante and business partner works for Sacco. Rick Shaftan has worked for the triple-dipping Sacco (Mayor/Senator/School Administrator) for years. Shaftan’s Sacco voted for the state to go $400 million more into debt to fund “green” projects (A-3901, June 25, 2009). This was a real double-dipper for Shaftan, because not only did he get paid by Sacco that year, who supported the $400 million “green” debt, he cut commercials (and got paid fees) for AFP in its failed attempt to stop the $400 million green debt becoming law. How is that for working both sides of the fence?
The Bayshore Tea Party Group is following this example too. After taking money from AFP and Republicans, Bayshore reached out to liberal Democrats to fund their campaign this year.
Whether for money or for personal reasons, moral relativism has destroyed the Tea Party movement in New Jersey. Just look at the Tea Party candidates grouped under the slogan Republicans for Conservative Leadership. That’s the slogan Rick Shaftan came up with when he was running the campaign of Hal Turner, the convicted criminal and notorious racist, but heck, there is no objective morality, right?
The fact is that if you are a moral relativist, the lies told by Leigh Ann Bellew don’t matter and the fact that she “taught” at seminars promoted by Americans for Liberty doesn’t matter. This is the for-profit corporation owned by Deb DeLuca, Shaftan’s running mate for State Committee. Those of you who are familiar with Maggie Roddin, the Internet shock jock who praises Holocaust deniers and Neo-Nazis, will know that it was DeLuca’s “Americans for Liberty” that (according to Roddin herself) also promoted Roddin’s speaking in New Jersey.
But none of it matters. There is no objective truth to the Tea Party.
Someone just brought this up to me…
You’d think that the entire BSTP group would be raising hell for being called in the middle of the night by the evil GOP machine.
Oh Tea party people don’t hit below the belt? Is that why my tires got popped last year??????
Your dreaming and someone out there still owes me a Cadillac tire.
Hmmmm….
I will not reply to those posting anonymously. I suspect your the same gutless hacks creating this fairy tale.
What is transpiring here in LD-13 is exactly why our Tea Parties are so motivated. Political Establishment of the Dems and GOP certainly not functioning for the betterment of the people. Citizen activists, a.k.a the Tea Party, has had enough. All the GOP lies, disinformation and chicanery won’t change that. Their dirty tricks may get them through a cycle, election or two but you are on borrowed time. Ultimately, we will display your scalps, politically of course.
Get a grip Mark F. “Anonymous”.
Let law enforcement do its job.
Hey, you’re a Democrat anyway. Take that “GO Booker” bumper sticker off your car.
And as for “scalps”. . . looks like you already lost yours.
Moral Rel., what is your real name? Or are you admitting you’re just another tired, quasi-masculine urchin. No, I don’t have Booker signs, yes I am a Dem. So was Ed Koch when he worked with the GOP to help the Dems LOSE WEINER’S SEAT. I am losing my hair, SO WHAT. Is that all you have chippy?
Your just as bad as the radical leftist. Name calling, personal attacks, anything BUT ADDRESSING THE ISSUE AT HAND. Now you see why we dislike you. YOUR LIKE THEM AND WE KNOW IT.
You are a regular gal who got used by a lot of bad people.
Don’t wait until they Feds come to interview you.
If this person did wrong in your name take the initiative and report it
.
Don’t wait until after the election because it will look like you tried to benefit.
Report it today.
So you are a Dem like that liberal Ed Koch. Got it, you support Clinton.
No, you’ve lost it, that’s something else you have in common with Mayor Ed.
Maybe you are losing more now because you are part of this mess. Maybe you won’t put out your real name because you fear doing so.
If you support Koch you are a radical leftist… chippy.
Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light in the 2 polling places I just visited. I hear the same from several others in Monmouth County. Your LD-13 crew could be in trouble. I will be on the radio tonight, blog talk radio, Youth for Independence Radio 9 PM, an offshoot of Campusteaparties. I look forward, win or lose, to pummeling the political establishments, both GOP and Dem.
Hey everyone, maybe this creep is in on it. Read his words: “Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light”.
Sounds like this Democrat creep wants to SUPPRESS voter turnout in the Republican Primary.
A good way to do that is to run a 4am call and upset seniors.
Voter suppression can be criminal. Whoever did that call broke the law for sure.
Will be listening for this Dem creep’s name tonight on slimebag radio. Will turn him in to the Feds when I do.
I suspect your playing being stupid, but then again I may be wrong. Does mommy let you go on the internet unsupervised? Are you wearing your training pants?
If you called me a radical leftist to my face I would challenge you immediately. But, since your hiding behind mommy’s dress you have me at a disadvantage.
RADICAL LEFTIST AND THEIR ALLIES IN THE POLITICAL ESTABLISHMNET, BOTH GOP AND DEM are the enemy. You sir, are an enemy of the US, her people, her culture and her future.
But hey, the check from the political establishment just cleared so what do you care? Don’t forget, chippy, I have challenged multiple GOP insider hacks to public debates (at a spot of THEIR choosing) but they all fade away. How about you, chippy? Square off in public if we ever find out who you are? Any testosterone left or have you sold it all for a few bucks to the establishment crooks?
Dwayne Horner, I do believe that’s y’alls voice on both the answering machine and the robocall. Have a blessed day…in court.
Now listen to all the name-calling you started out deploring. Hah, hah, another holier than thou liberal Democrat.
We caught you Mark F. We caught you trying to SUPPRESS the turnout in a Republican primary who dirty old Dem.
Now we know WHY someone did the call at 4am. Now we know that keeping the turnout low (VOTER SUPPRESSION) was a GOAL of the TEA PARTY.
Debate that, Mark F.
I wonder how the ultimate arbiter of integrity, James Tiberius Sage feels about all of this. Jim…how do you feel that not only has one of your endorsed candidates worked for a company which is anti freedom and steals money from taxpayers through fraudulent means, but three of your other candidates have now broken the law by doing an illegal robocall? You sure can pick em, boy.
Nobody debates you because nobody takes you seriously. Who wants to debate a drooling idiot? Who wants to waste their time on you?
Do you have a masculinity problem? Testosterone malfunction? That’s all you ever rant about.
Look what you just did to yourself you fool. You stepped in it this time.
Lord knows I needed a good laugh. Me suppress GOP voting? LOL. No, that’s an establishment insider hack angle.
I eagerly await an FBI investigation and will eagerly follow where the trail leads.
PS, thanks for the light batting practice. I am just working out until the show tonight. Sherlock, why would a campaign initiate robo-calls at 4 AM unless they were suicidal. More likely some BS tactic by the establishment henchmen.
So, lightweight, quasi-masculine anonymous hack, I DARE YOU TO FACE ME AT A PUBLIC DEBATE. Since you are being a little GIRL, you can pick the spot. What say you, CHIPPY?
“Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light”
You said it, Mark F. Democrat. You said it.
What do 4am calls do? They SUPPRESS voter turnout.
Why are you on here trying to change the subject (when you are not desperately trying to convince yourself that your underachieving manhood is more than it is)?
We all look forward to that investigation. LOL!
Listen to the Dem resort to name-calling.
“Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light”
You said it, Mark F. Democrat. You said it.
What do 4am calls do? They SUPPRESS voter turnout.
Why are you on here trying to change the subject?
We all look forward to that investigation. LOL!
“Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light. . .”
4am robo-calls do SUPPRESS voter turnout.
No Mark, it is your angle. You said this only a few posts ago:
“Bad news GOP establishment hacks, voter turnout EXTREMELY light in the 2 polling places I just visited. I hear the same from several others in Monmouth County. Your LD-13 crew could be in trouble.”
Well I’m glad there are a lot of “grown-ups”on this discussion thread.
For the record, I doubt the gop would do a robo call at 4 am. As I stated prior bayshore and their crones play dirty.
I dealt with a lot of distasteful and childish behaivor last year. All I know is if the polls close tonight with a BSTP loss down the line, I will laugh myself to sleep.
[…] State Senator Joe Kyrillos said that he and his wife were awakened at 4am this morning by the dirty trick robo call, and that his primary opponents are responsible for the […]
I see nothing but a bunch of scumbags chicken $hits in here. Tires slashed? Can we see the police report? Do you really know who did it? Did it really even happen?
Who the hell is it that wrote a half of a book in here. Are you finished dribbling on yourself? You sound just like a damned Progressive! In fact most of you sound like Progressives.
Many of you are nothing but wishy washy wannabe political hacks. I for one don’t believe this call was ever made. But if it was, then I do hope law enforcement gets to the bottom of it. And I’m going to lmao if it turns out to be one of you idiots that come in here talking all your BS.
One of you that frequent this place is the guy that was vandalizing the old BSTP office and was captured on film doing so.
Tell me, just how afraid are all of you of the Tea Party? All of you would be my guess. Just how afraid is the GOP of the Tea Party? Anyone of them that have to face them, be it in elections or through emails and on the phone. Now they have people watching over their shoulders. Every time they step out of line they are and will be exposed. This is supposed to be one of the most conservative districts in the state. But the damned state is littered with so much socialism and corruption, it doesn’t take much to be to the Right in comparison.
Well here’s a news flash. These 3 incumbents by no means are conservative. When you keep moving and blurring the lines, you get lost. And that’s just what has happened to all of you.
Mark might not address you anonymous creeps, but yea I’ll bring myself down to your level. You want to go down in the gutter? Come on with it, because it seems to be your permanent home anyways.
You all look and act like Jackass’ , Jackals and Hyenas. Your all a bunch of dummies.
Sure enough I give you the time of day in here. But on the street I wouldn’t even want to know any of you.
But first, I feel confident after listening to the two tapes that it is indeed the same voice.
Mark, you are so full of yourself that you refuse to listen to reality. Your comments here are insulting and mean. But then, that’s just like the BSTPG henchmen. Birds of a feather, I guess.
@Moral Relativism
Now
@If Bellew Is Reading This.
Bellew is no regular gal. She is sneaky and deceiving. She’s mean and nasty. I experienced it.
@ Falzone/Tea Pafty/Dem
RIGHT ON…Same reason why Joe K did not debate Bellew. No one could take her seriously because her campaign literature was full of lies.
@Jackass
We’re not afraid of the Tea Party. I love Tea Party ideals. We are afraid of Jackasses and idiots who don’t know what they are talking about.
RIGHT ON ALSO. Falzone, Babs & these bunch of loons are absolutists who do not understand elections, demographics, how to present a message or run a campaign.
They wrap themselves up with a “Citizen Patriot” flag believing they are the only solution. It is their way or the highway.
Falzone has always been looking for ways to have Democrats win.
@Remind me again NAILS it about the BSTPG running to the Dumbos for money. Add that to the fact that the BSTPG attacks Republicans and not Democrats.
There are real Tea Party Patriots and there aren’t. This Faux Tea Party Groups are NUTS. And that ain’t an anonymo comment.
Jim Granelli
Uh, oh.
Looks like somebody’s gone off their meds … …. …..
It’s that “vast right wing conspiracy” that Democrats always talk about. Yes Mark, we know you are a Democrat
Signed,
Silence Dogood, Redux
A Voice Identification pattern can easily and scientifically prove if this is the same voice (and would be able to confirm if a suspect is arrested that a certain individual made the taped message).
An attempt to suppress voter turnout is highly illegal and will bring the FBI into the investigation. Any attempts to “cover-up” will usually result in even more serious charges.
Whoever did this will be, and should be, in very serious trouble (both jail time and fines).
My suspicion would veer towards a political consulting firm who has been trying to advise and “help” certain Tea Party groups and individuals.
I cannot believe that Mark Falzon would be personally involved in anything like this. I’ve known him and I believe him to be a passionate believer in the cause. Since Mark is enrolled as a member of the democrat party, he could not vote in this GOP primary, and probably would have better served his goals had he kept out of it completely.
I assure you, charges that will be filed, once the investigations are complete, will be neither “baseless”nor “petty”.
Someone is in for a world of hurt they brought on to themselves.
One word of caution to our winners – the votes speak for themselves. There is no need to do anything other than to concentrate on winning in November.
Nicely Put.
As to Mark F. being involved, I doubt that too. But, the fact that he went full rant here and on another post with the comments about Jews tells me he is as much a loose cannon as Barbara Gonzalez is. This “Citizen Patriot” stuff has gone to their heads and the “absolutism” that they preach has no place in this business. It breeds narcissism and corruption of ideals.
But, your last comment says it best…
“One word of caution to our winners – the votes speak for themselves. There is no need to do anything other than to concentrate on winning in November.
To me, that means that they don’t have to change a thing or a message or a platform to gain a radical few members. Conservatives came out to help them. Why?
They have qualifications, experience and are winners. Yes, listen to ideas from the Tea Party, but no need to go off the cliff with them.
Jim Granelli
