President Donald Trump has been almost universally criticized by the Washington political and punditry elites, on both the left and right, for his press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Yet his approval rating went up, in a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released last night.
The four day nationwide survey of 900 registered started a day before the Trump/Putin summit. The pollsters reported that there was little difference in the results before and after the heads of state.
The 45% approval rating is the highest of Trump’s presidency. It is up 1% from a June WSJ/NBC survey.

A red notice is a request by the Justice Department to the international law enforcement agency to locate and arrest an individual for the purpose of extradition.
