There’s a New Theater Company in town. The world and Monmouth County can never get enough theater,so, in May of 2014 The American Poetry Theater was created by Rich Quatrone along with dedicated collaborators/members Ryan Ward, Mary Kelly and the WisdomKeeper herself, Lorraine Stone.

Heading down the home stretch to the Debut of 
THE AMERICAN POETRY THEATER

A theater of the blues and revolution. 
Making it’s debut and declaration of purpose and intent. 
Featuring readings from American Poets followed by An Open Reading.

Takes place on Thursday, May 15, 7pm, at Central Avenue House, 
24 Central Ave, Ocean Grove. 

Come read from Walt Whitman, Amiri and Amina Baraka, Allen Ginsberg, Howard Zinn, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr, Cornel West, Nikki Giovanni, Diane DiPrima, Sonya Sanchez, James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, and any other American poet or writer of liberation.  
And bring your own poetry for the Open Reading that follows.
