Mitt Romney Clinches GOP Presidential Nomination
The Bayshore Tea Party Group’s endorsement of Texas Congressman Ron Paul was not enough to turn the tide.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney rode into Paul’s home state of Texas tonight and rounded up enough delegates to seal the deal.
The Associated Press reports that Romney won big in Texas and surpassed the 1,144 delegates needed to secure the nomination at the Republican National Convention in Tampa this August.
