Republican tsunami at local and state levels

By ‘firesign58’

While we were hearing mostly about national-level races, which were historic, the Republican gains in state and local races were even more massive. Talk about a complete repudiation of ObamaReidPelosi – these are the races where large-scale Democratic vote-buying operatives such as unions and PACs did not influence the votes because not as much was at stake. But, on consideration, there really *is* much at stake: these are the people who will redistrict…and in the case of districts gerrymandered to protect Democrats, expect to see changes!

Results in the Neptune Nudnik – er, the APP – this morning bear this out. In ALL municipal races reported in its circulation area, where a Republican ran, they won, except in Red Bank, Neptune and Belmar. This included blue towns like Union Beach, Keansburg, etc.
