Will Chris Christie to run for president in 2024? Ex-N.J. governor says he wouldn’t rule it out.
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s days as a presidential candidate may not be over.
Christie told The Hill in a new video interview he wouldn’t rule out running for the White House in 2024.
“I would certainly, you know, look at the race in 2024, and I would not back off from that at all,” Christie said.
Christie unsuccessful ran for the Republican nomination for president in 2016 — a nod that ultimately went to President Donald Trump.
Christie has hinted since then that he may run again. But this is the most direct response Christie has given so far.
It comes a little more than a month after …
seriously, who would vote for him? We have such a great bench, Jordan, Scott, Kennedy, Pence, many solid and brave conservatives, who put their money, words and votes out there, despite intense media pressure and hatred. Don’t waste your or anyone’s time, sir. Thanks. Gotta get through this one first, also….
Agreed withe the exception that you left out Nikki Haley and Noem the Governor of S. Dakota as possible candidates
want to wait, is suspected of trying to dump a competent and loyal VP Pence this year, who does a very good job.. agree on Gov. Noem: what a bright, calm, measured, and effective leader! Dems don’t even have one near her, for this year, ( or frankly, for any other year,) for either slot!! Principles, and guts, and level- headedness are everything, in these times.
