Congressman Smith addresses the COVID-19 emergency

Congressman Chris Smith recorded this video in his Freehold office today, April 22, before heading to Washington to vote for the next phase of the COVID-19 emergency legislation which is on the docket tomorrow.

Rep Smith reports on the constituent service work he and his staff have been working on, particularly in securing PPE equipment and gear for medical workers and first responders, as well has the legislation he has been working on.

    $2.3T was passed by a voice vote and this $500b will be passed by voice as well.

    Harvard gets $9m and not a single politician is accountable because they conveniently didn’t directly vote for the spending.

    This is a sham and Chris Smith is part of the problem.
