We keep hearing more and more of authorities dropping multiple balls, in this disaster. Makes one wonder how this “ safest” city stayed safe, for as long as it did.. what sad and pathetic way to learn how much more we need to act, to protect other kids..

    1. How does a mentally deranged teen carry a weapon into a school; how does anyone get to carry a weapon into a school? Where are the security systems to scan what you are bring in nto the school? One hell of a lawsuit against the school system for failure to protect.

    2. Armed security officers too scared to enage a killer? What are they being paid for? One hell of a lawsuit against law enforcement here.

    3. Real problem is not just with school security or lack of properly trained armed guards, but with the inability of society to deal with mental health issues properly. I wonder if this individual were on any medications which caused some of his problems. That must be looked at. Until these mental health issues can be discussed in a rational and realistic way to PREVENT these evil arocities, we will never stop them.

    4. We have enough gun control laws on the books; maybe we need some news media articles on how lawfully armed citizens prevented other crimes. Don’t hold your breath!
