New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney, the author of over 100 tax increases on NJ citizens, issued a statement earlier this week vouching for the outsider status and fiscal conservatism of Vin Gopal, the former Monmouth Democrat Chairman and a candidate for the Democrat nomination for 11th District State Senate seat in the the June 6 primary.

In addition to Sweeney, Gopal is touting the support of South Jersey Democrat Boss George Norcross and Phil Murphy, President Obama’s former Ambassador to Germany and the candidate for Governor who has already locked up the support of the New Jersey Democrat machine.

“Vin Gopal is a small business owner who understands the importance of creating jobs and expanding economic opportunity,” said Senator Sweeney. “He will bring an independent voice who will stand up for what he believes in, even if it means challenging other Democrats on policy issues.”

Sweeney acknowledged that he and the State Democrat Party have long coveted control of Monmouth County and it’s seats in the legislature:

Senator Sweeney’s support of Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey was instrumental in their upset victories in capturing the two Assembly seats in the 11th in 2015.

“Vin Gopal is a talented and hard working leader who understands the needs and priorities of the residents of the 11th District,” said Senator Sweeney, who worked closely with Gopal as chairman of the Monmouth County Democratic Party in the Assembly races last year.

As party chairman, Gopal has led a Democratic resurgence in Monmouth County, Senator Sweeney noted. Hillary Clinton won the district in the 2016 presidential race and the Democratic Monmouth County Freeholder candidates outperformed their Republican opponents in the 11th District as well.

After pillaging, plundering, looting and destroying the cities controlled by the CORRUPT DEMOCRAT MACHINE, like locust they need new green fields to feed on.
What democrat controlled towns are Sweeney or Gopal’s model for their good government ideas? Camden, Trenton, Patterson, Newark, East Orange, Atlantic City, Wood Bridge, Perth Amboy, Irvington etc…

God help us. Anyone Sweeney and Norcross support we need to vote against. Sweeney wants his senate president seat and he needs north jersey votes. Don’t vote for Gopal

we are fortunate that this guy is from the less- populated South Jersey, and that Phil Murphy’s money exceeds what the many unions would likely have contributed to Sweeney’s gubernatorial campaign.
