Governor. What is sad, is many were hoping you were leaving, while many of us are concerned the longer you stay, the worse the party does, next year. It is probably better that he didn’t have “the Lt. Governor,” aka Kim Guadagno, next to him: this is obviously better for her to be at an arms-length status, as he goes another $300 million or more into debt, in a state that is literally broke: I did not hear any details, as to who has drawn up plans, whether there will be any competition to try and get fair pricing, or whether there will be any kind of effort to get some private fundraising going,to help defray the costs. I don’t know about the rest of your readers, but one wonders why anyone would spend so much on one building, when our state capital is unfortunately,basically, a vast wasteland, where Trenton no longer “makes” for the world to “take.” Seriously, without any kind of effort to bring our state’s capital city into any kind of physical or economic revival, is he not once again shortchanging the beleaguered taxpayers??
