There’s a New Theater Company in town. The world and Monmouth County can never get enough theater,so, in May of 2014 The American Poetry Theater was created by Rich Quatrone along with dedicated collaborators/members Ryan Ward, Mary Kelly and the WisdomKeeper herself, Lorraine Stone.
This October The American Poetry Theater will bring you, THE AMERICAN FLAG. The story about living in America. Narrated by a homeless man whose mind generates 50 states of being in America or visions of life here. The true collaboration of passionate local talents and the NJ writing/directorial debut of Rich Quatrone. Written by Mary Kelly, Rich Quatrone, Lorraine Stone and Thomas Ryan Ward, who also serves as the director.
Also starring the beautiful, gifted, talents of Pamela Harris, Roc Khadafi,
Bryan Morales, Lisa Siano, and the one and only Dunbar Rep hero,
Darrell Willis Sr.
Come to this exciting first play of THE AMERICAN POETRY THEATER
on Friday, October 10 & Saturday, October 11 at 8PM and
on Sunday, October 12 at 3PM. Get involved in a true blues theater for the people of Asbury Park and America. Held at Asbury Park’s newest venue, the warehouse art space known as Kastland, located at 1411 Memorial Drive at the intersection of Sixth Avenue in Asbury Park.
