LONG HILL — The day after his budget address, an upbeat Gov. Chris Christie returned to a message that has worked for him in the past: State finances are in trouble and only he can help. The Republican governor urged Democrats in the state Legislature…
He added numerous unqualified people to the payrolls of the Port Authority with 6-figure salaries. Remember Wildstein? How many more come into this category? Oops another: Jerry Speziale, the Democratic Sheriff from Passaic County who got Speziale a no-show, or low-show job pay in excess of $200,000.00 per year. Oh then there’s Jennifer Beck’s ex who got himself a six-figure pension for being a “Republican political strategist.”
Perhaps Christie should get his unqualified cronies out of places they don’t belong, instead of attacking the middle-class workers who have been doing their share by paying into the pension system all those years.
Jennifer Beck’s ex was given a six figure salary NOT a pension.
many ex- coworkers from the US Atty’s office, sprinkled all through several departments and agencies.. as for the senator’s ex, the poor young guy is reportedly very ill-so just don’t go there..
