Monmouth County Superior Officers Endorse Sheriff Golden’s Reelection

Sheriff Shaun Golden points to the monthly charge on phone bills that Trenton globs instead of investing in 9-1-1 systems

Freehold, NJ, October 22, 2019- Lt. Shawn M. Reece, President of FOP Lodge #30, Monmouth County Superior Officers, is pleased to announce the union’s endorsement of Sheriff Shaun Golden for reelection on November 5, 2019.

“Under Sheriff Golden’s leadership, the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office is one of the premier law enforcement, corrections and public safety agencies in the nation,” said Reece.  The Monmouth County Superior Officers are proud to endorse him and look forward to keeping the citizens of Monmouth County safe for three more years under his leadership.”

Sheriff Golden is the chief executive of the 605 member, $68 million dollar agency, leading the County’s law enforcement, corrections, communications, emergency management, police academy and special operations divisions.

For 35 years, FOP Lodge #30 has represented the Superior Officers on the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.  The Lodge stands for the Constitution of the United States, for the well-being of all law enforcement officers and is committed to the public safety of all Monmouth County residents.
