JCPL Update

JCP&L provided the following information to MMM at 12:45 this afternoon:

Monmouth County Update:

  • Since last night JCP&L crews have restored more than 30,000 customers in Monmouth County.
  • Ice and water have been activated at attached stores.
  • JCP&L has requested 1,200 additional workers last night, many of whom will be arriving today to assist with restoration efforts.
  • Estimated times of restoration will be relayed as they begin rolling in. The restoration process is going to be extensive and residents should be prepared for extended outages.
  • JCP&L continues to address public safety issues, such as downed wires and poles.
