Authorities investigating the death of Tinton Falls man found in Howell Home Depot parking lot
William H. Spaulding, Jr, 61, of Tinton Falls was found dead in the parking lot of the Home Depot store at Route 9 and West Farm Road in Howell on Friday afternoon.
The Howell Police Department said on facebook that Spaulding’s death in suspicious. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said an autopsy is expected to be performed on Saturday.
Howell Police responded to a 9-1-1 call at 1:31 p.m on Friday reporting a man lying on the ground at the Home Depot location. Spaulding was pronounced dead at the scene.
A married father and grandfather, Spaulding was a Tinton Falls homeowner since 1997, He was a sales manager at Sears, according to his LinkedIn profile. There is a massage therapy business registered at his home and a he had massage therapist license that expired in 2012, according to public records.
