    Ugh.

  2. The disaster continues.. said at 10:38 am on November 8th, 2017:

Thanks to the most egomaniacal governor in this state’s history, our already fragile state organization is now on life support. The few Rep legislators who remain, will sit in the back row, vote “no” in a weakling voice, and just watch them desecrate us remaining taxpayers, while keeping us less safe, with more unwelcome, bad actors, being allowed to come in and likely, harm us. Good job, suicidal Blue Jersey. See ya!

  3. Thank you unions said at 11:23 am on November 8th, 2017:

This is what happens when you get a rich liberal spreading money around like it’s candy, coupled with unions who couldn’t care less about our state – only their narrow interests. Just wait until his anti-business initiatives are put into action. Mercedes and the Hertz Corporation are only the beginning of those companies and jobs that will be fleeing like rats on a sinking ship. if there is any good news in this tragedy the devastation will probably happen fairly quickly and the pendulum will hopefully swing back so we can pick up the pieces of what’s left

So Murphy won by about 300,000 votes in a state with 900,000 more registered Democrats. That is not any type of mandate, and in many respects it is a failure for Murphy.

If Christie had moved to DC a few months ago, I think Kim would have easily flipped 150,000 votes from Murphy to Kim and could have won. Some things are beyond the control of a campaign, but you would think a sitting Republican governor would care about the future of the State enough to try to help.

    Candidate Party Votes Pct.
    Philip Murphy Democrat 1,159,088 55.6%
    Kim Guadagno Republican 882,743 42.3

Kim’s campaign got more doomed, every time Christie grabbed the spotlight: fights on radio talk show tryouts, spending our money to put his fat face on tv every day, suddenly concerned about the horrific addiction problems, (which existed before, and got worse on his watch) : until he needed the issue to try and go up a couple of points, from his dismal performance in office, after ruining our party for years to come, saving his own neck again by letting two other people take the fall for him over Bridgegate. It was all about him, from the moment he trumped up the Bid rig arrests to show how tough on crime he was, to his absenteeism in office to move up to the presidency, to never being able to state her name, give her accolades for running the state, or push her out if the way of scheduled speaking dates, the man wears and is, a selfish, one- man wrecking ball to both the state and our party! Sure , it’s a blue state: but in Kim, we had one of the most decent, qualified candidates in years. The governor, the huge money difference, and lack of strength of the state party organization, all added up to a disastrous night.. After Murphy taxes us to death again, loses more businesses, and makes us less safe, Kim could come back and try again, if she has the stomach for it: not that the crazy, dopey, short- sighted voters deserve her!
