are only beginning. Looks like we will go from government by one big ego, to government by a bunch of aides- neither is what NJ needs! If you think it’s bad here now( it is,) just wait!

I see this as a good sign for Kim. The clueless, incompetent Mr. Murphy must have some polling that indicates rough seas when the inevitable connection between him and Corzine is pounded home. Now if only Kim will stop with the powder puff, vanilla campaigning and start hammering this guy on his association with Corzine, his obsession with raising taxes and his absolutely idiotic idea of a state bank, among other stupid policies, maybe she can make a race out of this.

and definite legal pot for taxes, to add to Medicaid and all the other lib giveaways. I wish I thought the average NJ voter could look far ahead enough to stop the continuing assault on all working taxpayers, but sadly, I don’t. We appear so numbed by the daily attempts to just keep our heads above water, to even be able to live here any more, that we seem to think our way if life in this state is normal- it isn’t! Not to start a discussion on race but, let’s be honest: if Murphy picks the accomplished former assembly speaker, Shiela Oliver for his Lt. gov., the Dem turnout will be even bigger, and we will have problems, down the whole ballot. I wish I thought Kim has an equally-good vote- getter to help her out in the enthusiasm factor, but right now, nobody helpful comes to mind..

@agreed – how about Singh? I know it’s a long shot but a young conservative who would appeal to minorities and millennial.

Maybe Kim’s folks are paying attention!

It would be a gift for Kim if Murphy picked Shelia Oliver as a running mate. Among the assembly rank and file, she is known as a colossal embarrassment and a supreme airhead. She would get destroyed in a debate and have independents running for the hills. Just like the woman card didn’t work last November the race card won’t work this time

her ability to accelerate Democrat turnout in certain towns and districts- statewide..since when does competence/ accomplishments come into play, these days: it’s all about oppo research, character assassination, and emotion, as we have seen..Oh, and the proverbial more potential handouts/ re- distribution of your hard- earned tax dollars.

That motivation works both ways. She is the poster child for everything wrong with this state – the siphoning off of suburban dollars into the corrupt, wasteful inner cities. Republicans AND Independents still outnumber Democrats in this state. That is our only hope.
