Saad Doctor Charged With Sexual Contact With 17 year old Girl

Dr. Saad A. Saad, 71 of Red Bank, was charged with second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and fourth degree Criminal Sexual Contact by a Monmouth County Grand Jury last week over an incident that occurred while he was examining a 17 year old female patient at Meridian Pediatric Associates in Eatontown on May 1, 2017.

Saad is the Pediatric Surgeon-in-Chief at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, according to his practice’s website. He is an attending at five hospitals in Monmouth and Ocean Counties and is an assistant professor of surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The doctor faces  five to ten years in a New Jersey state prison if convicted of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 18 months if convicted of the fourth degree Criminal Sexual Contact charge.
