Goofy Gopal Swings and Misses

Goofy Gopal looks to the heavens for inspiration

Goofy Vin Gopal took a swing at Senator Jennifer Beck last week and whiffed.

According to The Asbury Park Press, Goofy Gopal issued a statement on Friday demanding that Beck return campaign donations she received over the years from Donna M. Conroy of Middletown.  Conroy pleaded guilty to federal bank fraud charges last month.

Beck had already donated the funds to Lunch Break, the Red Bank food pantry, when she became aware of Conroy’s guilty plea.

This stacks up with Goofy’s other silly moves, like blaming Beck for air pollution, advocating that Monmouth Park steal the Preakness and knocking on voters’ doors in the snow and pouring rain.

Gopal should explain why Nicole D Harrison-Garcia gave his campaign for State Senate in LD 11 $2000 last month.  Harrison-Garcia, of Union City, is the Deputy Director of the County of Hudson’s Department of Human Services.  Even at her generous salary of $126,061 (according to app’s Data Universe) $2000 is a big donation for a Hudson County Democrat to be making to a Monmouth County senator wannabe.

Gopal has often advocated making Monmouth County more like Hudson and Essex Counties.  He’s gone so far as to suggest importing Hudson County voters into Monmouth to vote for Democrats.

Gopal says he that if he replaces Beck in the Senate he will be independent from the influence of Party bosses and special interests.  As the former Monmouth County Democrat Chairman, he is a Party boss.   The CWA Political Education Fund gave Goofy $8,185 last month. The Communications Workers is one of the largest State workers unions, but LD 11 taxpayers should expect Gopal to fight to reduce taxes via government reform.

Gopal has endorsed the school funding plan that Senate President Sweeney has put forth and promised to shut down the government over.  Sweeney’s plan reduces education funding for LD Neptune Township by $1,302,322, Asbury Park by $981,552, Ocean Township by $534,2014, Monmouth Regional by $339,078, Eatontown by $292, 574 and Tinton Falls by 224, 352.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night will keep Goofy Gopal from startling LD 11 voters

Overall, Sweeney’s school funding plan punishes LD 11 school districts by $3,676,309.  The few school districts in LD 11 that see increased school funding in Sweeney’s plan get most of the new money from an income tax increase that hasn’t even been introduced yet.  Goofy wants LD 11 voters to believe that he will be independent of and stand up to Sweeney.

Art, stop posting incomplete stories that omit information about me.

You forgot the time when I said that “Essex County is a model for Monmouth County to hope to achieve one day.”

And you forgot to mention the time when I conspired with Speaker Vinny Prieto from Hudson County to have his constituents change their addresses to Monmouth County and re-register them here, so that we could actually win an election for once. Though I see you did post the video, so thanks!

You also forgot about the time when I had the Norcrosses and the Camden County gang “invade” (my man servant Max Pizzaro’s words, not mine, 04/26/16) Monmouth County last year to try to buy Freeholder seats.

    Sloppy journalism.

Can help Monmouth County if Vin Gopal was to be successful in his 5th+ bid for public office. I’m sure he is a nice person but his politics is too much in line with Hudson and Essex counties. (Big City, Big Government) This is not what many who moved from big city and big government expensive lifestyle want in Monmouth County. Senator Jennifer Beck has done the best she can in a democratic controlled legislature. She always fights for her constituents and does what she thinks is right for the state. Good luck.

Ms. Beck carried the water for her governor not her constituents. She did whatever he wanted her to do. She and Monmouth Republicans remain his biggest fans. Now that’s goofy.

I will refrain from saying anything vicious about this democrat candidate as we have had enough politics of personal destruction.

Therefore, let me congratulate Vin as I certainly like the first three letters of his last name, GOP!

    Vote GOP!

If we’re doing 6th grade schoolyard insults with people’s names, let me propose that you refer to the GOP candidate, Jennifer Brechhhhh.

#Astrid – I don’t know what asteroid you are living on, but a compliment is not an insult.

Obviously you never even made it to sixth grade, otherwise you could properly spell Senator Beck’s last name, or even the first three letters of her last name.

That is the problem with liberal lefty loonie tunes. You can’t even try to smile once in a while. Lighten up. You might live longer!

Tom–I was commenting on Art’s referring to Vin as “Goofy,” not on your dumbass comment. Now get your Yiddish dictionary and look up “Brech.”

If Hudson County is so bad then why do you Republicans have a Hudson County Democrat as your “acting” Depty Administrator (Perselay) and another one (Kleinman) as your County Counsel? Peselay also has Union County connections too.

  9. Not a bad point- said at 10:26 pm on June 21st, 2017:

many Republicans, for quite a while, have asked that same question. If you think the Dems would bring in ANY Reps from basically red areas, if they took power in this county, you are totally delusional. I,for one, am sick of this”we get good people, no matter their politics,” attitude: either you find qualified people from your own side, who can do good jobs for the taxpayers and also support the party, or you weaken yourself for gradual, eventual political destruction. Many do not recall how they operate, but trust me, they are ruthless, and only take care of their own. We need to wake up pretty soon, or many won’t get what hit us!

You got that right about Beck carrying CC’s water.
