New hope for a Republican Majority in New Jersey

Snapshot 2 (5-26-2016 10-48 AM)With the news that Governor Chris Christie saying that he is staying in his current job until his term in expires in January of 2018, New Jersey Republicans are rethinking what little hope they had to winning the governorship and gaining seats in the legislature next year.

Don’t give up, New Jersey Republicans. There is hope.

PolitickerNJ’s 2016 list of the 100 most powerful people in New Jersey tabs Monmouth County Democrat Chairman Vin Gopal #50.  PolitickerNJ says Gopal is slated to become the next Chairman of the New Jersey Democratic Party.

Gopal is 0 for 5 and 0 for several million in special interest money since becoming the Monmouth Dem Chair.  Gopal’s elevation to State Dem Chairman would be the best news for New Jersey Republicans since Governor Florio taxed toilet paper.

As long as Vin Gopal stays in his position, the democrats are doomed. He will continue with his nasty, half truth filled vitriol to the detriment of his party. His opening salvo against Senator Jennifer Beck is a perfect example of flat out lying about her dedication and service. The great people of Monmouth County sent him a message this past election and will continue to say to him: Enough!

Breaking through at the County level has obviously been a tough hill to climb for the D’s however on the flip-side Gopal deserves at least some credit for D gains at the local levels and for D’s upsetting two incumbent Republican Assemblywomen in District 11 last year.

I would be as stunned as CNN this year, if the NJ GOP wins much of anything, in 2017!!
