When Walker mentioned that others should also drop out to avoid having Trump getting them nomination I wonder if he is including Christie in that group?

It was about the money with walker.
His donations dried up and the campaign went broke.

Christie still has backers. He still makes news and gets buzz. He’s still in the top ten, such as it is. Once Trump begins to fail, Christie’s the one left with the most bombastic persona. He’s still a viable player in this race and it’s still early. I doubt he’ll quit anytime soon, unless of course, his donors back off.

Walker was more than likely referring to the 2cnd tier group that’s registering -1 in the polls. Their presence is more a distraction than a serious run for the nomination.

He probably was also speaking to Rand Paul. No one seems to like Rand Paul this go-a-round.

Let’s be honest, 16 or 17 or so “candidates” and I’m not sure that any of us Republicans, the dedicated blindly loyal ones or the ones who mostly ride the sidelines, have a “guy” or Carly Fiorina that we’re actually excited about at this point, just someone we’re settling on because “that’s the field?”.

The Christie’s, Walker’s, Bush’s, Perry’s of the political world should all be taking note; all of their loud mouth talking and no action on things like: illegal immigration, property taxes, sales taxes, state use/license fees, police over-enforcement of questionably Constitutional laws, poor public infrastructure, over-regulation of everything and the list goes on and on — Americans, Republican voters included, are tired of it all of none of the candidates aside from Trump are even talking about real issues that impact American’s daily lives. The problem is that very few people seem to seriously believe that Trump, or people he’d have work for him, would be any more reputable and capable than the current bunch, nor do they think that Congress would work with a President Trump to accomplish anything to better our lives. Just the same, voters aren’t likely to get rid of their local Congressional rep “because their guy is good, it’s all of the other guys who are the problem”, so what does anyone really expect to happen if we elect another do-nothing politician to President, surrounded by the same do-nothing politicians in Congress. Politically, we’re in bad shape as a party, and as a nation, good thing the sun is out and pumpkin pickin’ season is upon us.

are simply running for VP, let’s face it- and our gov. is running for AG- we still need one that really can win!.. My fear remains that this is another exercise in political futility- that we will probably be stuck with the same losing mentality of the national GOP: am afraid we are gonna be stuck with Bush for Pres. and Kasich for VP: they think Fla. and Ohio will do it for us, which is why we will be in Cleveland for the convention, next July: God help us, nice guys maybe, but too lib and inside-the-Beltway, for me-the sphector of Dole, McCain and Romney seems to continually haunt the party, which seems to again be in the la-la land of delusional defeat!!

  5. You make a good point, Several. said at 2:08 pm on September 23rd, 2015:

A Bush/Kasich ticket does nothing for me, either. I hope that’s not where we’re headed.
