Chris Christie stepped into the Winner’s Circle to present the trophy. And then, the record crowd of 60,983 booed. Long. Loud. Sustained. Maybe he should have hung around Bill Murray. The cheering…

Surprised the Governor even showed up!!

60,000+ horseracing fans let the Governor know how they felt about his basically ignored the states horse racing and equine industries at the same time he was making his all in bets in Atlantic City which have so far been a gigantic failure.

If you never heard that many people booing at once, it was LOUD!!!

time to give it up, come back, and try to make a legacy fixing something, that future Republicans can run on, for heaven’s sake- or there’ll never be a GOP statewide winner ever again- for all the support you got, especially from our county, twice, there is precious little to salvage, brag about, or even associate with! Very selfish, shortsighted, and plain”not nice!”

I was there on Sunday and It was bad. I remember being seated around the 1/16 pole and watching Victor Espinoza by the winners circle when the announcer introduced Chris Christie. The place began booing in unison and it was loud and long. The section over (closer to the finish line) extended their arms out with thumbs down, similar to spectators during gladiator fights. When you thought it was all over they attempted to introduce Christie a second time and that’s when the booing got nasty with a heavy dose of profanity. I was there and it was much much worse than the I-Phone video. Christie is very lucky that NBC or TVG didn’t tape the trophy presentation because it would have been used during the debates, it still might be but without a tape it doesn’t have the same effect.
