Project Homeless Connect 2015 Rescheduled

Project Homeless Connect 2015 that was originally scheduled for
Wednesday, January 28 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 4
On Wednesday, February 4, a team of volunteers and
County staff will be in Asbury Park, Freehold, Keansburg,
Long Branch, Neptune and Red Bank meeting with people
who are homeless or at risk of being homeless and
encouraging them to seek services and resources.

Citizens without a permanent residence or who are at risk of being homeless are encouraged to
participate in Monmouth County’s 2015 Project Homeless Connect event by visiting one of these locations
Asbury Park – Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, 701 Memorial Drive, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Freehold – Feed All God’s Children (Soup Kitchen), 130 Throckmorton Street, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Keansburg – St. Mark’s Community Center, 244 Carr Avenue, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Long Branch – Meals at Noon, 93 Liberty Street, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Neptune – CHANT, 130 Corlies Avenue, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Red Bank – Pilgrim Baptist Church, 172 Shrewsbury Avenue, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Those who participate will be asked to provide information and will be offered food, clothing
and various services, including free health screenings and employment services.

Project Homeless Connect fulfills the HUD requirement that the County complete
such a count every two years. For more information about Project Homeless Connect,
