Dwayne Horner, campaign manager for Leigh-Anne Bellew’s 2013 Bayshore Tea Party backed primary campaign against State Senator Joe Kyrillos, received an early Christmas present earlier this month when he was admitted into the Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) Program.

The 45 year old resident of Little Elm, Texas woke up thousands of Monmouth County voters with a 4 am robo call on June 4, 2013 the morning of the primary election.  The call purported to be from the campaign of Kyrillos and his running mates Assembly members Amy Handlin and Declan O’Scanlon, informing Repbulican voters that the still had four hours to vote.  The calls were caller ID spoofed to falsely indicate that they came from a phone number owned by the Monmouth County Republican Organization.

Here is a recording of the call:

On August 11, 2014 a Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted Horner on charges of fourth degree identity theft. His potential penalty was 18 months in state prison and a $10,000 fine.

If Horner successfully completes the one year PTI program, which will be administered by the probation department in Denton County, Texas, there will be no official record of his crime.

No need for robo calls next time around. Lets look at Joe Kyrillos’ record of not speaking out against incessant toll hikes the Port Authority straddles his constituent’s everyday. Look at Kyrillos’ records of voting for bills, however when the governor vetoes such bills, Kryillos fails to support his original bill and vote for the override.

Kyrillos when on the Judiciary Committee voted for Joe Oxley for judge. A man with dubious ties to Solomon Dwek. Kyrillos voted for his fellow Middletown resident despite Oxley’s refusal to permit his FBI file to be opened regarding such dubious relationship. How can anyone vote for Oxley without fully vetting him, and reading all that is applicable to one’s character???

“Hopefully” .. for 30 seconds, could we please focus on THIS ARTICLE, and skip the deliberate distraction?!

Although this just sounds like a slap on the wrist, it’s good to see that sometimes there are consequences, when someone does something illegal that’s campaign-related!
