Caden’s Christmas; To Benefit the Zane Family

Matt and Jill Zane are two loved and selfless educators in the Wall Township, New Jersey school district. After battling fertility issues for several years, Jill became pregnant with twins through IVF. Eight weeks into the pregnancy, one of the eggs split, giving Matt and Jill triplets in August, 2010.

One of their three children, Caden, is a medically complex, chronically ill disabled little boy. Every day is a serious struggle for Caden, vomiting constantly and often crying through sleepless nights. These are just a few of the many difficulties Caden endures. With very little understanding of Caden’s condition, the Zane family has struggled to get him the help he needs.

Most recently, Jill has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones and two organs.

Jill has already done much fundraising, including the selling of “Cause Caden Can” T-Shirts. However, she keeps none of it, donating all funds to struggling families in the community. “Caden’s Christmas” Fundraiser will directly and specifically benefit the Zane Family.

Between the new time and costs required for Jill’s cancer treatment, as well as Caden’s medical needs and expenses, the struggles of managing home and work committments, and also caring for their other children Ethan and Emily, The Zane Family needs their community more than ever.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 by Christmas to lessen the burden of their bills and to contribute to adventures and experiences that will create lifelong memories for Caden and his family.

We also want to achieve Jill’s goal of finding new doctors who believe they can help Caden beyond a brief visit. We want to make this page and our video go as far as we can, reaching a wide audience of people who may take interest in helping Caden beyond donations.
