Democratic Candidate for Middletown Township Committee Campaigns for Underage Votes

It seems better than soliciting votes at a cemetery, but it is still illegal.

Linda Baum, the Democratic candidate for Middletown Township Committee was asked told to leave Middletown High School South on Tuesday.  Baum was greeting students on their way into school.  When school started she entered the building and asked the administration to announce her presence over the intercom and have students come to meet her.

This was not Baum’s first attempt at seeking ineligible voters.  Over the summer she campaigned at the River Plaza Elementary School.

Baum did not return MMM’s calls seeking comment.    She is challenging Deputy Mayor Steve Massell for a three year term on the committee.

    The lowest of low. This is a woman who pushed for LBGT agenda to be brought to the education system. She should have been arrested for trespassing on school property.

    This is the best the Dems could muster? I myself was a 2 term Dem commiteeman but left because folks, if you think it is bad from the outside looking in, it is even worse inside. We need a massive purge of the Dem Establishment and bring the party back to it’s original ideals because this “bunch” is pitiful. The nation needs a real Dem party to counter the RINO’s and other internal American enemies.

    The APP 2011 Data Universe lists a “Linda S. Baum” as being employed by the NJ Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau, receiving a $98,414 annual salary and has been in the state PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) since 2002.

    Oops. Someone called NJ CRIB to talk to Linda and found out she is “no longer employed here”.

    Is she currently unemployed receiving unemployment benefits? Or was she fortunate enough to find other work? For her sake, I certainly hope she did find other work.

    What is with this woman? First she wants to teach the gay agenda to our school children, and now she barges in and wants to make an announcement over the p.a. to kids who aren’t even old enough to vote? This kind of kooky behavior is scary stuff – even for the Middletown Democrats. I remember reading a post by her decrying the evils of genetically mutated alfalfa. Then she goes on an anti-fracking rant. Next we have to be regaled with the wonderful time she had had at the LBGT Day in Asbury Park. I tell you, nuttier than a squirrel turd.

    I guess we now know why the gay pornographer contributed so much to the Middletown Democrats last year. He must have gotten a promise to push their agenda in the schools. This woman should be ashamed of herself going to schools to push this agenda.

    Has anyone asked the school Superintendent or the Board of Education about this?

    Was she there talking about LGBTG issues?

    Was she invited?

    Where was security if she wasn’t invited?

    If she was invited, by whom and for what purpose? Were any other political candidates invited? Or are the taxpayers spending money for the school system to campaign for only one party?

    Why was she allowed onto school property to greet students?

    Where was the principal? Where was security?

    How brazen was she to ask that the school announce her presence? Who does she think she is?

    There is a school board meeting this Monday night at HS North – we must demand answers from those incumbent candidates seeking re-election on November 6th. What did they know and when did they know it? What actions will they take or will they try to cover this up?

    My biggest concern is that far left liberals like Linda Baum have a pathological obsession with getting access to our school children. I agree with the earlier poster – we must get to the bottom of this and find out how this unstable individual got herself in the midst of our kids in what is supposed to be a safe haven.
