    You’re right Art…words matter…

They (voters) want to know what’s the truth. They’re not interested in a chameleon.”
~Michele Bachmann, criticizing Mitt Romney’s flip flopping, speech in Florida, December 2011

“He’s not a bold decision maker like Newt Gingrich is. Every time I talk to him, he says ‘well let me think about it.’”
~Romney supporter Sheldon Adelson, describing his new favorite Presidential candidate as a weak man who can’t make decisions, Jewish Journal, March 28, 2012

“Pick any other Republican in the country. He is the worst Republican in
the country to put up against Barack Obama.”
~Rick Santorum, calling Mitt Romney the worse Republican anyone can possibly pick to be the nominee, Racine, Wisconsin, March 2012

We can’t nominate such a weak candidate. I’d love to be able to get one-on-one with Gov. Romney and expose the record that would be the weakest record we could possibly put up against Barack Obama.”
    ~Rick Santorum, ABC, March 2012

“Governor Romney supported the bailout of Wall Street and decided not to support the bailout of Detroit.”
~Rick Santorum, Detroit, Michigan, February 2012

“If Mitt Romney can be pushed around, intimidated, coerced, co-opted by a conservative radio talk show host in Middle America, then how is he going to stand up to the Chinese? How is he going to stand up to Putin? How is he going to stand up to North Korea if he can be pushed around by a yokel like me? I don’t think Romney is realizing the doubts that this begins to raise about his leadership.”
~American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer during his radio program, May 2012

“We’re not going to beat Barack Obama with some guy who has Swiss bank accounts, Cayman Island accounts, owns shares of Goldman Sachs while it forecloses on Florida and is himself a stockholder in Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac while he tries to think the rest of us are too stupid to put the dots together to understand what this is all about.”
~Newt Gingrich, Mt. Dora, Florida. January 26, 2012

“[Mitt Romney is a] Massachusetts moderate who, in fact, is pretty good at managing the decay.” He’s “given no evidence in his years in Massachusetts of any ability to change the culture or change the political structure.”
~Newt Gingrich, Des Moines, Iowa, January 4, 2012

“Maybe Governor Romney in the spirit of openness should tell us how much money he’s made off of how many households that have been foreclosed by his investments.”
    ~Newt Gingrich, CNN debate, January 26, 2012

“I believe most Americans want their next President to remind them of the guy they work with, not the guy who laid them off.”
~Mike Huckabee, describing Mitt Romney in a 2008 campaign ad.

    Rick,

Glad to see you quoting former GOP presidential candidates plus Bryan Fischer.

You left out their quotes that said any of them, including Romney, would be a better president than Obama.

Please go back and gather quotes from each of them about Romney and Obama now that the GOP primary is over.

    We’re waiting.

  5. Rick Ambrosia said at 8:30 am on September 16th, 2012:

When you do that with Hillary….then maybe I’ll do that too.

    I’m waiting.

  6. Art Gallagher said at 9:01 am on September 16th, 2012:

    Fair enough Rick,

I congratulate him on the victory he has won and the extraordinary race he has run. I endorse him, and throw my full support behind him. And I ask all of you to join me in working as hard for Barack Obama as you have for me…So today, I am standing with Senator Obama to say: Yes we can…We will make history together as we write the next chapter in America’s story.
    Hillary Clinton, June 7, 2008

    Your turn.

  7. Rick Ambrosia said at 8:06 pm on September 16th, 2012:

    Here you go Art…

Bachmann officially endorsed her former rival on Wednesday, saying she was “honored” to support “a man who will preserve the American dream of prosperity and liberty.”

But back in December, Bachmann blasted Romney as the only governor in history to enact “socialized medicine.”

“His policy is the basis for Obamacare,” Bachmann said of Romney’s heath care plan in Massachusetts during an interview with ABC’s Jon Karl before the Iowa Caucus. “You can’t have a candidate who has given the blueprint for Obamacare. It’s too identical.”

Sorry…couldn’t resist. But, at least I posted her tepid endorsement.

  8. Rick Ambrosia said at 8:09 pm on September 16th, 2012:

    Ok…here’s one from Huckabee…

“I don’t think anyone doubted that I was going to support the Republican. But Mitt Romney has now earned it — and I use that term very specifically,” said Huckabee. “He has earned the nomination. He worked hard to get it and therefore I think all Republicans and all conservatives need to rally around Gov. Romney.”
