Christie Town Hall Meeting in Howell on September 12
Governor Chris Christie will have his first post keynote town hall meeting in Howell on Wednesday September 12, 3PM, at the Southard School Gymnasium, 115 Kent Road.
The doors open at 2:15PM.
Seating is first come first served. The Governor’s office requests that you RSVP here, in order to ensure adequate seating.
Will Mayor Walsh be in attendance to yell at Christie and all of Trenton for Howell’s high property taxes and poor road conditions?
What, The Hack Union Pavers Haven’t Come To Howell To Repave The Roads Under The American Investment & Recovery Act????
You know the wasted stimulus bill that put economic recovery money into union contractor hands JUST BEFORE the election bribe them for (er earn) their union support in this election…
My oh my, they been to almost every town on the shore over the last few months.
The high property taxes are a LOCAL issue. Talk with your mayor if you have an issue on that….
You say talk to the mayor, the mayor says to talk to trenton

Bring in the union hacks. Christie and Walsh don’t seem interested in taking them on, just pointing fingers at one another.
Get real – the unions own the Democrat party in this state, and, quite unfortunately, the Democrats have the majority in the Senate and Assembly. Besides, the towns only account for about 20% of your property tax bill. Two-thirds go to the schools – you know, the ones controlled by the NJEA who have declared war on the NJ taxpayer. Property taxes will never go down as long as Democrats rule the legislature and the unions rule the Democrats.
The Governor’s office is suggesting that people park in the Walmart parking lot and cross the street to reach Southard School. I certainly hope the Howell PD or the State Police will be there to stop traffic for pedestrians. There are always a lot of cars there. There are no sidewalks or crosswalks there. Senior citizens will have a tough time crossing that street without help.
