He REALLY doesn’t want Romney to ask him to run for V.P.

Governor Chris Christie had a SITUATION in Seaside Heights last night.

He exchanged harsh words with a heckler on the boardwalk and pursued his taunter who preferred to keep walking rather than engaging in a confrontation with the ice cream cone wielding executive.

Someone recorded the exchange and sent the video to TMZ.

The Governor’s office has yet to comment.

Good for the Governor. Called out the whimp who was big with his mouth but wasn’t man enough to face the Governor. We call that , chump change in Jersey. Bennie go home!

Good for Christie calling him out!

  2. Big Jim said at 3:21 pm on July 6th, 2012:

We don’t know how this exchange began, but Christie comes acress as petty here. He should’ve simply called the guy back and said, “Explain your comments to me.” Maybe he did before the camera was rolling – I don’t know – but again, I just don’t think this is a positive video for Christie.

  3. Shwoops said at 3:38 pm on July 6th, 2012:

It is pretty silly…i mean, going after a guy for saying something about teachers? and with that ice cream cone in his hand..oy vey.

  4. brian said at 3:51 pm on July 6th, 2012:

Romney has enough problems of his own without this buffoon weighing him down.

  5. You all said at 4:29 pm on July 6th, 2012:

Must be the Corzine self-serving democrats . That have a problem with Christie calling the loud-mouth out. Chicken little ran away-
    Bennies go home is right.

NJ Stands with The Governor all the way.

He can huff and he can puff all he wants ….but he still hasn’t reduced our property taxes by ONE cent !

  7. Bob English said at 6:14 pm on July 6th, 2012:

Nothing against Christie but I would be amzazed if Romney asked him to be VP. After the Palin disaster, I would expect more of a safe pick of someone where politics asside, there would be no doubt that they were ready to assume the Presidency if need be (and also someone who can help the ticket carry their home state.)

That wasn’t the Governor it was snookie

  9. Kathy Baratta said at 12:09 pm on July 7th, 2012:

Who was that thug? Looked like “Tootie,” “Paulie Cicero’s” brother from “Goodfellas.” Substitute the “cab stand” for the Seaside Boardwalk and you’re there.

    Soprano State indeed!

Electoral Votes, 99% sure, are going to Obama, this state has really reached its dumbest point in history: most polls show Romney down 15 points in NJ…this Gov. brings nothing but a mouth and a few counties’ pluralities to the national table: prefer someone from a state we have a chane of actually winning and getting the Electoral votes from: either Cong. Allan West or Sen. Marco Rubio, both from the mandatory-win Florida, are my first picks: think national, kids, NOT ego-centric NJ..one can’t even get an answer as to whether they’ll even have an office/presence in NJ for Romney, this year: we just won’t deliver, so they have to go where the votes are!!.. accept it: we’ll likely have to buy our own lawn signs again, as the Two Rivers group did for Mrs. Hanlon with McCain last time, when they pulled all their resources out of NJ..Blue Jersey, despite all of this Gov’s grandstanding, is unfortunately, very likey to reman Blue, once again..

  11. Bob English said at 3:42 pm on July 7th, 2012:

I would tell Mitt to look at Pawlenty, Portman, Jeb Bush and Huckabee (longshot.) Other longshots are Toomey and Daniels. Rubio’s day will probably come but I would not pick him this go around and would never pick West.

Don’t forget the red phone ringing at 3 AM test!! The last thing Romeny would want to do would be to pick someone that was not a slam dunk in peoples minds as seen as ready to be President on day 1 and have that be an issue just like Palin was for McCain.

Too bad the video didn’t show the dirtbag cursing out Christie in front of his kids. Good for you Governor, you are a superb elected official and a devoted, protective parent. Even on vacation, the NJEA dirtbags can’t help acting like the low lives they are.

the 1% aka the Edumafia, will do anything to protect their golden lifestyle———last taxpayer to leave NJ please close the lights.

  15. Bob English said at 10:50 am on July 8th, 2012:

Brian….Note that the median salary (1/2 make more and 1/2 make less) of teachers in NJ is just over 60k/year and to have reached that you need to have been working for aprox 12 years. Not exactly a “golden lifestyle” if you have to work a 2nd job when you want to buy a house in a decent neighborhood and make ends meet.

  16. brian said at 12:13 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Unlike the Edumafia—i pay for my healthcare, pay for my retirement, and pay the highest school taxes IN THE WORLD.
lt is time to leave this failed welfare state that is run by the Edumafia—good luck paying my share when i leave Bob the conflicted liberal who takes all four sides of every issue—that is why we ridicule you and your ridiculous pandering and refusal to take a stand on anything. Why do these “administrators” in the edumafia make more than the Governor or a US Senator??? Why Bob Why???????????????

  17. brian said at 12:15 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Bob–i was against it before i was for it, now i see both sides of it—has weighed in with his pearls of wisdom

  18. Pilgrim said at 12:28 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Christie is in typical bully mode. What would have happened if the security detail disappeared and the guy didn’t keep walking? Christie was lucky to have someone around to ‘hold him back’.

The man has NO class. He acts like a high school sophomore. This is the real Christie, not the one prepared to walk out on the highly controlled stage of his so called spontaneous town hall meetings.

I’m waiting for someone to get in to the next town hall meeting and ask about this his best friend running and making big profit from the the halfway house — Community Education — system. Remember Willie Horton?

Christie is the poster child for what a statesman should never be.

  19. Bob English said at 2:43 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Brian…why is it that when I make a post that is 100% factual all you can think of is to attack me??? The last time someone made the same claim that I was taking two sides of an issue and I asked them to have the guts and back it up with facts, all I heard was crickets and the gutless claim that “they were done posting.”

So lets see if you have the guts and the brains to back up your claim and specifically tell everyone how my above statement is taking four sides of an issue???

  20. James said at 3:41 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Christie is mentally ill. Anyone that weighs 400 pounds has something psychologically wrong with them. This latest episode underscores just how unstable Christie really is. I am embarrassed to have this clown as our governor.

  21. Proud Republican said at 6:32 pm on July 8th, 2012:

Hey James, here’s a newsflash. Corzine tried the weight attacks during the campaign and got slaughtered. You guys have a huge problem. We finally have a governor who is a real person, not some mealy-mouthed weakling who reads off a teleprompter. He stands by his principles, stands up to the tax-happy, union-butt-kssing, socialist Demoxrats and protects his family. He is a model for every elected official and is what New Jersey has been waiting for for years. So all you Democrat hacks can attack his weight, the taxpayers of NJ will continue to support the one guy who has set out to stop the socialist freight train in the legislature.

  22. Bob English said at 5:54 am on July 9th, 2012:

Christie’s weight should be off limits. Pleanty of people including myself are overweight and not by choice. Hopefully he will seek out the help that he needs.

Back to the VP choice..Rep. Allen West’s comments regarding slavery, Social Security and how the President wants people to be his slaves (rather than working) is a great example of why you don’t chose Allen West to be your VP pick. I am sure Romney does not want to have to defend those (and other) insane remarks like those in the Fall campaign.

  23. James said at 7:27 am on July 9th, 2012:

Gluttony is a sin. Christie puts his children at risk of growing up without a father every time that he chows down on those ice cream cones. If Christie loved his wife and children, he wouldn’t eat they way that he does.

And here’s a “newsflash” for you, Proud Republican: Chrisite is not the conservative you make him out to be. Chris Christie increased road taxes (tolls) by 125%. Christie’s latest budget proposed increasing state spending by 8.2%, an amount that is considerably higher than the current rate of inflation. Incidentally, if municipalities can live with a 2% cap in spending increases, why can’t the state? Oh, that’s right. 2013 is an election year. Silly me.

But alas, I digress. Chris Christie is undisciplined in every aspect of his life — weight control, temper, politics, ethics. He is a selfish, obnoxious pig of a man. It’s a shame New Jersey can’t seem to elect a conservative that people can be proud of. Little wonder New Jersey is so often the laughingstock of the nation.

  26. brian said at 9:44 am on July 9th, 2012:

Ok flipper Bob—-60K plus free healthcareplus a defined benefit retirement all at taxpayer expense—for a PART TIME job. And that’s just the foot soldiers. All the consiglieres, dons, mistresses, and mafia wives are pulling in six figures—many over the 175K we pay a Governor to represent 9 million people—again, for PART TIME work.
The reason most of us had female teachers growing up is because it is a PART TIME job. The wife worked there while the husband had a real job. Real jobs work on weekends, at night, on holidays, and sit down–in the SUMMER. lt there is a little snow on the ground, real people go to work.
The Edumafia has created a false image that they actually produce something of value yet test scores continue to fall as we spend more and more down the sewer. Lets hold them accountable—oh no-we can’t do that!! Let’s reign in some costs and let them PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE FOR THEIR OWN BENEFITS— oh no, they have to strike and march on Trenton. “Educators” are the perfect example of delusional lib thinking—throw more and more money with no regard to results—and you are a bigger fool for throwing out nonsensical stats—that’s-again—a nice base salary for part-time work. If a teacher has to work a second part time job to buy a house–that would equate to one full time job, dingbat.

  27. Bob English said at 5:56 pm on July 9th, 2012:

Brian…I asked if you had the brains or facts to back up YOUR accusation that I was flip floping in my previous statement (regarding the median salary of teachers in NJ) which is 100% accurate. Obviously you don’t have either since nothing you posted backs up your claim.

  28. brian said at 7:23 pm on July 9th, 2012:

Fair enough—you only flop- from a dopey liberal (defending the edumafia) to a milhous-level liberal (attempting to smear Alan West)

  29. Bob English said at 10:05 am on July 10th, 2012:

Allen West smeared himself. I’m sure Romney would love to have to defend West’s statements.

  30. brian said at 11:33 am on July 10th, 2012:

Spoken like a true Libturd—-9 million on SSD—which will be bankrupt in 2017, 10K new mediscare recipients daily while we cut the funding by half——which part of unsustainable don’t you get, Libtard???

  31. brian said at 11:34 am on July 10th, 2012:

And ps—you are a liberal therefore your opinion is invalid—-have a shitty day.
