I thought that the Maya prediction was for the End of the World on December 21, 2012. Based upon current actual scientific knowledge of substantial solar storm activity peaking at the end of 2012 and into 2013, the Maya may have known more than we give them credit for.

    See:

This May 21 “prophet” was wrong the last time (Harold Camping, a radio broadcaster) when he predicted the “Rapture” would occur in 1994; now he says it will be May 21, 2011.

Here’s what another Christian leader recently said, “What they’re doing is contrary to Scripture. The Bible says that no man knows the day or hour of his coming. Those dates have come and gone over the years in church history. It’s going to happen eventually, but we’re not going to know the date. It makes Christianity look silly.”

I plan to be at my church on Sunday morning, May 22, 2011.

    God Bless!

one more thing – I see the GOP is starting well before the 6PM “Rapture” ….

OK, breathe a sigh of relief … here’s some more research (I have too much time on my hands).

Fuller Theological Seminar President Richard Mouw clarifies that May 21 is Rapture Day — the day Christians, dead and alive will meet Jesus in the sky. According to Camping, the world won’t end until Oct. 21, 2011.

    Now Libras have to worry….

.. and see the new HQ, a great job done by Chairman Oxley, Jeff, and all the volunteers.. while off Main St., after looking at 19 locations, it’s new, bright, clean, and ready for hard work, good times, and victories- oh, and NO more running out to move your car every two hours, to avoid the inevitable Freehold Boro PD parking ticket: guess their revenues’ll be down, now.. the new place has lots of free parking, room, light, and good vibes, from all the attendance and support this am.. it’s right off Throckmorton and in the new Carlton Station shops, we can now say: “help us keep Monmouth on-track”, and,” get on board with the GOP!”.. hope to see you all there, soon!
