Hu’s Coming To Dinner

Our Governor and First Lady were guests at the White House state dinner honoring Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Upon Christie’s entry to the gala, a reporter asked him what is was like being the only Republican invited.

Christie is certainly unique, but he was not the lone Republican at the dinner.  Senator Richard Lugar and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger were also on the guest list.  Neither was Christie the only New Jersey executive present.  MWW CEO Michael Kempner was also among the guests.

God, i love his style…. can we clone him? or send a piece of him around to innoculate other Republicans considering running for office? Hands off, rest-of-the-country–he’s OURS. You might not totally support all his ideas, but this guy’s got the you-know-whats to get the job done.
    Yay Chris Christie!

Gotta tell you, not all that sure I’m thrilled with the idea of my Governor “honoring” the de facto leader of International Communism Inc. Sometimes I’m not sure he knows what he’s doing.

    This was really dumb.

Gee, I hope they at least served the RED koolaid if they had beef. Oh wait !Governor!..remember, the Flagon with the Dragon has the brew that is true…or was it the Chalice with the Palace. Uh oh. (Danny Kaye fans will get that one.)

to hear him say, when asked why he, as an “R”, was there,”that’s what makes me unique!”..methinks our fearless leader perhaps needs to make a few less jocular soundbites and appearances on FoxNews and Imus, and spend more time fixing our over-taxed, over-regulated, and still very business -unfriendly state, and find many more places to cut the wasteful spending going on everyday, here.. we are far from “back,” as a state, in my book!..
