The roadway is a mess! All entrance and exit ramps were not even plowed. I was on it this morning (12/28), and still no substantial change in roadway conditions.

Jenn, Declan, Caroline, please find out what happened.

Nevermind the roadways, Jim… that nj511 website is a mess. I’m actually more upset thinking that I pay for that disaster of a website than I am about the unplowed roads and while I won’t write a letter to anyone about the snow removal issues, I will write to a few about that awful website, ie, this real entry there:

As of 7:14am, there’s Weather related on NJ 71 in both directions between NJ 36 in West Long Branch and NJ 33/Corlies Av in Neptune Twp. 1 lane may be blocked.

Weather related what? How about simply, has the road been plowed? is it passable? how many lanes are open? And as of last night, Rt35S by the Monmouth Mall hadn’t been plowed, aside from driving over there to find out if it’s open, how about a useful update?

Really? Jen Beck? She’s been MIA so long, I even forgot she was representing us…well, not us…certainly not me…maybe you….or not.

we will not be free for a moment, from any of them, while they fear the re-districting and whether they’ll get back in, or not.. as an R, can only hope my incumbents not say/do things to appear inane or irrelevant..the whole snow thing was badly handled, at every level but the County, and that is just the truth, because for 30 yrs., they’ve been PRO-active, and haven’t let it get ahead of them.. and,in 2011, both sides’ candidates will be driving us all crazy, re-inventing the various wheels, as if their brilliance will protect and save us beleaguered taxpayers!.. fasten your seat belts and pray for sanity and help!..
