Guadagno Tosses Carl Lewis From The Ballot

By Art Gallagher

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, in her capacity as Secretary of State, has overturned an administrative judges ruling that former Olympian Carl Lewis meets the constitution requirements to run for state Senate.

Lewis and the Democratic party are likely to appeal Guadagno’s ruling to the State Appellate Court.

Anyone reminiscing over the Toricelli decision?

Why exactly is Lewis eligible or not eligible to run? I must have missed this somewhere.

Kim Guadagno is a pro-abortion, gun-grabbing, liberal Republican. While Guadagno was the Sheriff of Monmouth County, overtime was so rampant amongst corrections officers that some jail guards in Monmouth County made almost $200K a year. I don’t know much about Carl Lewis’ political views, but I’m willing to lay odds that he isn’t all that much more liberal than is our Lt. Governor. Bottom line: New Jersey will remain a liberal swamp no matter whether a Republican or a Democrat is in office.

Boy, someone is angry here. Or, was this in an effort to be a flame thrower?

    Hey Pat,

She is also involved with fraud and deception when she was at the Sheriff’s Department as well.
